The creme de la creme of diaries
This is the bees knees, the perfect little black pocket book diary. It has a soft-bound durable hard-wearing cover which is flexible and keeps it's shape well. I have been using these diaries for four years now and would not consider using anything else. There are similar cheaper diaries available but they never quite come up to the class of the Moleskine diary. As I plan by the academic year I use the diary for most of the 18 month period from July onwards. By the end of it's life the diary looks a little dog-eared which only adds to its class. As you can tell, I am completely sold on these diaries. They have the look and feel of a 1950's film-noir policeman's notebook where the detective licks the big of the pencil before writing an entry. Moleskine actually make a clip on pencil that attaches to the top corner of the diary. I haven't taken it that far yet but do have a Moleskine pen that clips in the same way. My handwriting is not that neat but the combination of pen and diary makes my entries look classy. This is an indication of the design that has gone into this. Like an iPhone or iPad it is stylish in a classy understated way, easy to use and well worth the investment. It is well thought out with one side of the page week-per-view and the other for notes. This is particularly useful to record any changes in the schedule, additional details or upcoming related appointments. You can pack a lot of information into a very small space and works just as well as a diary twice it's size. There is a 2017 calendar in the front, followed by monthly planners (a month per page) up to December 2017, then the same for 2018. There is also a 2019 calendar. There are some miscellaneous features at the front, international dates, time zones, weights and measures conversions and, the really useful bit for me - two weekly timetables. As some of my work s academic and some is self-employed, I am in different places at different ones of the week. These timetables give me the basic weekly structure. I can then fill in the unique weekly details in the main diary. At the back there are a couple of pages for notes and a little wallet containing three pages of stickers that you can use to mark events in the diary. I find the wallet useful to temporarily keep important receipts in.The only drawback that I have discovered is the way public holidays are recorded by printing the initials on the top right corner of the day entry. It is easy to miss, particularly when clicking forwards to plan ahead. It is worth writing them in when you get it. I have been caught out a couple of times. The final photo is a before and after shot comparing the new diary to last year's after twelve months constant use.All in all, a beautifully designed, well-thought out diary that you can take anywhere.

Moleskine pocket diary
Truly pocket-sized diary for those of us that still rely on paper. Well made as you would expect from Moleskine, the diary shows 7days on the left side of the view, and lined paper on the right for notes.Paper is thin, but happily takes biro, fine tip liquid ink pens and pencil - not sure I would use fountain pen though as it will bleed through. There is a little pocket in the back cover for tickets etc, and the diary is held closed with an elasticated strap. In addition there are sheets of little stickers for highlighting or reminders. Delighted with this, not least as it contains 18 months worth of dates (July 2017 - Dec2018), and would thoroughly recommend.

Keep it real, moleskine
I've been using these for about 10 years now. The only thing that seems to have changed in the new version is the stickers, and that they've made it more travel-oriented rather than having handy measurement conversions in the front. I wasn't really using either, so I'm not really complaining.Other than that, perfect for fitting in my back pocket, and using as a planner. More secure than phone in case my battery dies.

As expected, but quicker and a little cheaper.
Moleskine, cheaper than from Moleskine. What else can I say? You know what you're going to get with these products, but it was at a more reasonable price and delivered quicker. Bonus!

It's my own fault but I did not realise how small this was when i purchased it, it's good quality but I don't feel it was worth the money because I know I could have found something bigger and cheaper that would have suited my needs better.
