Honestly the best tape for photo and video
It’s sticky but doesn’t leave residue. It’s matte, not reflective. It tears easily, but not too easily.

Industry standard tape
What has my life become? I'm reviewing tape! Magtape is an industry standard - strong, durable, virtually indestructible, and doesn't leave residue. When it comes to taping down cables, whether to a corner or on carpet, you're securing what you need, and you're able to rip it up without worrying about damaging what was underneath it. It's literally indispensable when you need stuff taped down, such as in a studio location, and with 50 metres of it per roll it's an invaluable essential.

This is not Magtape and is not matt finish
Despite the name of the item and the image the seller posts, be aware that this is not matt finish gaff tape from MagTape. Is is of cheaper quality and is a gloss finish tape from Concordia Technologies.

Quality gaffa less than pro gaffa prices
Great gaffa, rips easy and leaves no residue.I recommend this if you want to save some money but don’t want to go super basic.

This is the Matt tape, (blue logo, not the red)
Although the Amazon photo currently shows the red internal logo print on these rolls, I can confirm that it was indeed the Matt version delivered, as per the description, and is the greatest, most dependable gaff tapes that I have purchased year after year!

Does what it is supposed to
Great adhesion, smart matt finish. A really good length of reel too.

Excellent value for money
Huge roll for the money. I use it for sticking down a black backdrop. It leaves no residue which is great. It usually comes unstuck several times so wouldn't be great for safety purposes but okay for mine.

It is not the cheapest but it works, even in challenging environments
You might not love the price - but then you are buying the best brand of rigging tape there is out there (please let me know if there is there is better as we go through rolls of this stuff)I would say that because it is so good and versatile we probably use less - no second attempts etc.If you need rigging tape then you cannot buy better!
