An absolute must have for professional photographers who need colour correction for flash.
Let's get one thing straight. I absolutely LOVE these gels.Firstly you get three in every pack. Perfect for strobists who use multiple speedlights.I have consciously chosen to use these over Magmod gels, even though I am a big Magmod user. Why? Well because of the size/weight. The entire pack is really small and light. Meaning it takes barely any space up/adds barely any weight to my bag. This is important since as a wedding photographer, I take a lot of gear already. Having to carry three of every Maggel would take a lot more space.I usually just trap the gel between the maggrip and say the maggrid. So in terms of time it takes, it really doesn't take a lot more than using the Maggel. And of course using the Rogue gels means you don't even need Magmod. I can just use the provided elastic bands to fit any speedlight. The gel's even fit the new Godox roundhead V1 speedlight at a pinch. You need to be a bit more accurate with how you position it but it does fit....just. After losing one of the round gels which Godox use, what i've done though is cut one of my spare Rogue gels to shape with scissors. And now it fits great. The other thing I love is that Rogue have helpfully printed the color temp change as well as light loss. Sure you can try to remember it but it's just easier to read it. So I now know at a glance what my resulting Kelvin will be and how many stops I need to add to compensate for the light loss. Brilliant! The wallet itself even has small cardboard divider to help you separate the different gels. I find this is invaluable and saves me a lot of faffing when for example I need to grab say a 1/2 CTO rather than full CTO. With the dividers, I am able to put them in different spaces rather than one 'pack'. Since i'm often setting up equipment in less than ideal lighting, being able to locate the right gel quickly saves me time and effort. Again that's another time when having the info printed on the gel helps. Compare that with the cheap unbranded ones which leave you guessing. Easy in daylight. Not so easy in a dark reception room.I literally use these gels at every single wedding. It's the unsung hero of my equipment that I take. I didn't even notice how much I use it until I lost the pack and I replaced the pack without hesitation. For those who say these are expensive, I suggest you compare how much it would cost you to buy the same amount of maggels and holder. In that context, these are an absolute bargain.

Next level for OCF
If your wanting to take your flash to the next level and balance flash WB with the lighting in your surroundings then this is it !!Just don’t loose them like I do as it starts to become an expensive habit.

Expensive perhaps but good.
OK, these are perhaps a little expensive compared to others available but you do get quite a neat little package. There are 3 gels for each of the 5 colours and 3 white diffusers, making 18 in total. All of them fit into a neat pouch, which is held closed by Velcro. The coloured gels are:- Plus Green, 1/4 CTO, 1/2 CTO, Full CTO and 1/2 CTB.Every gel is labelled together with its F Stop. There are also 2 rubber securing bands and a guide card in the pouch.

A great addition to my flash
This kit comes with 6 different gels and rubber band. There are 3 of each gel / rubber band which is great if gelling more than one flashhead (or for spares if the band goes boing or the gel blows away!). The rubber bands are heavy duty and fit well on my 430EXII. Great for correcting colour casts whilst doing flash photograpy. Rogue have another similiar porduct that contains a large number of coloured gels for creative flash photography so beware you dont buy the wrong product. Also supplied with a handy pouch that keeps everything protected.

Any flash user should have these
If you are shooting with flash and another light source (which most of the time you will be), you should definitely be using gels to match your flash with the temperature of the other light. Otherwise, unless you process to black and white, your photos will look amateur. I found these really easy to use (and carry around) and have three of each colour for using multiple flashes
