These actually work — they're the first of their kind that actually offer relief.
I was reluctant about trying heat pads that you don't stick straight onto your skin because I thought they'd slide about and fall off; but, with a tendency for eczema across my entire back, I decided to give them a whirl as other products were making me itch horribly. Yes, you need a fairly thin, close-fitting garment for them to dish out the best heat efficacy and you get a couple of goes to make sure the pad's in the right place before making it stick. They don't damage or mark clothes and they stay put or can be changed to another garment, without quibble, until *you* decide it's time for removal. My routine is that I swap to a new one in the morning, having slept utilising the remaining benefits of the one that's been in place for around 16 hours or more. (Yes, yes — I *know* this goes against the instructions but I've had no problems doing this.) I've even been naughty and placed an exhausted pad on the lid of the boiling hob on the Aga for a couple of minutes to get a bit more oomph out of the heat. For travellers, a useful feature is that I've sailed through security many times now without a problem or being made to remove the pad first, and always take spares in my hand luggage in case someone asks the question. Even the TSA didn't turn a hair, which surprised me. There is no skin irritation whatsoever. A very good product.

Good product. Lasts all day and eases lower back pain.
Worked well. I have a painful lower back and having these patches does ease some of the pain and they do stay warm for most of the day - however I would note that my back pain isn't that severe. I don't know how well the product would perform for severe pain.

They work!
They do exactly as described on the box. I have a mechanically poor back and have regular physio and massage and these are so descreet, they are unnoticeable. They keep just a low level heat in the sore area to help the muscles to recover. So far I have stuck them on many different types of clothing and they have remained secure and warm for over 16 hours, yet are quite easy to just peal off the garment.I have these on subscribe as they work out so much cheaper than nipping up town to buy with the added bonus of them coming direct to my door.

Rubbish Returns Support
I had used this brand previously and as these were such a good price for three boxes I was happy to purchase. However when they arrived and I tried to use the first patch it did not heat. Thought it was a faulty one and so tried a second. This did not heat either, so I tried a third but from a different box. But after 40 minutes again no heat. Rather than open all 12 to find one that worked I tried to return them only to be told that these items had a no returns policy. So money down the drain. Thanks. In future i will buy them when on offer at the supermarket where I know I can return an item if not fit for purpose.

Meh
Well it does help a little bit with my back pain when I put it on the heat does help a bit but it does not stick on too well after a while. Maybe an hour or 2 and it will start shifting. But it does heat up well. Worth a try I guess

does exactly what it claims and so easy to use
I have a sporty hubby who is far too old to be doing some of the things he does, hence he sprains, he strains and he ultimately needs a bit of heat applied to his sore and aching limbs.Enter the Cura heat pads. They are so easy to use, each item comes individually wrapped and once you get into the packaging, out slides a little pad. Peel off the clear film and apply, sticky side down, to the affected area - I would suggest pressing down the edges of the pad for a few seconds to make sure it sticks - and then leave it to do its work. And it works!A gentle heat, not overly hot, keeping the affected are nice and warm and allowing it time to heal properly. And best of all, when you remove it, it is not overly sticky and tends not to rip out hairs (!)The downsides are that if you place it in a position where the limb moves around a lot or near a joint, it can come loose and migrate. The best way to deal with this is to get a bit of mepore medical tape (dead cheap) and just add some tabs to keep it in place, but be aware, the mepore is a fast and slightly uncomfortable way to remove arm or leg hair!
