Echelon EX5 Smart Connect Fitness Bike, Black (Renewed Premium)

I purchased very hesitantly this refurbished premium model, not expecting it to be so good! This looks brand new and can’t imagine what was refurb. Came packed in original box all paperwork and I could not tell you this isn’t brand new. Totally amazed at what a great value. It works flawless so smooth and I’ve never liked indoor cycling but I’m hooked. The seat is a road bike narrow saddle and only thing I’d change cause I’m 61 and the rear padding has left me lol. If you’re on the fence just pull the trigger you won’t be disappointed and for $599! I use the QZ fitness app $4.99 one time and it gives me all the parameters needed. I watch YouTube cycling videos free and does the trick. If you need coaching then use Echelon app $.

We were a little unsure about getting this renewed exercise bike thinking someone had problems with it and returned but it was perfect not even a scratch or any indication that it even assembled nothing even the bags that hardware were in they were even sealed and never open it even came in the original box . It works perfect !!!! We are very happy with this purchase ....

No dislikes. Easy assembly and all required bolts and items in the package for full assembly.

The seat is awful and no good way to fix. The pedals are too far apart. Without an app attached, the power knob does NOTHING!I expected modern seat hardware. This uses the single-bolt crap found on cheap bikes, the kind with a clamp-band around the seatpost. Your favorite bike saddle CAN NOT be used.The pedals are several inches farther apart than on a real bike. Feels much harder on my knees.Without an app attached, the power/load adjustment knob does nothing. Disconnect the app while riding, it switches to minimal load and can not be altered.It is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE for a seller to not disclose that an app subscription is REQUIRED to use device as intended. And their app isn’t cheap.

App is clunky, usb port present at screen holder but can’t actually use this for charging the device (verified with customer service). Works well as a bike but the interface is so poor that I will be returning.

I was hemming and hawing about buying this refurbished bike. It was half off and I was like what’s gonna be wrong with it and what’s gonna happen and who refurbished it and what’s this and that and the other thing and I finally pulled the trigger it’s 50% off. It comes in an Echelon box. It looks like a brand new bike. Everything is packaged by Echelon and Echelon is a fantastic company. I’ve owned Echelon bike before buy the refurbished product. Do not buy the new one. It’s half off for this thing and you will be happy. It comes in an Echelon box it’s fantastic and I can’t recommend it More .

I purchased again as I donated the last bike. Really like the improvements to this model. Would highly recommend.
