I purchased the Pura Kiki after reading the recommendation from BabyGearLab.com in 2016. I was searching for a good "sippy cup" since all the mainstream ones at the store were disappointing. I realized these cups (Munchkins, The First Years, etc) were extremely difficult to drink from and leaked. I was hesitant to give Pura a try because of the cost but I'm glad I did.First off, I love that these are PURE. There is absolutely no plastic! Plastic is something we eliminated in our kitchen years ago but it crept up again since having children. With Pura I don't have to worry about plastic leaching into my child's drink.They are durable and look almost as good as the day we bought them. They recommend to replace the silicone spouts overtime, but we haven't done so because they're still fine. I have sterilized them a few times in boiling water for 5 minutes. In one of our houses, we had tile floors in the dining room and my daughter would knock the cup off which resulted in a few dings on the bottom. This is one of the downsides to this material. At times we were worried the tile would crack, but it never did. It is leak proof BUT if there's liquid in the spout at the tip where they suck and it drops or they flick it then a few drops will come out. Other than that, you can shake the cup and tip it upside down and nothing comes out.It's expensive but it grows with the child, is safe material, and lasts.

Love this. My baby will not take a bottle. This is the only way he will take liquids separate from bf. It came with a bottle nipple but the company offers sippy cup style replacements. I bought a pack of 2 and I already had the larger cup which came with sipper style too, which are leak proof. We love them. Baby loves them. I also don’t worry about bacterial build up into the product, easy to clean, AND stays fresh because it’s satin less steel. Definitely recommend.

These bottles are amazing!!! Easy to clean, durable. No leaks. Warms breast milk quickly when put under warm water and keeps its nice and warm for a good length of time. Grows with your baby. My son used this from 2 months old and is now 3 and we just switch the nipples out for the Pura Kiki sippy cup top. Great shape, easy to hold. We just bought some for our preemie son that we plan to use once his eating issues are resolved. Great plastic bottle alternative! I use Mason jars for bottles at home and for milk storage but use Pura Kiki when out and about or for baby sitters that may not be comfortable with glass bottles.

The Pura Kiki stainless bottles are a great option to plastic. The bottles are easy to wash, are durable, and have a great hand feel. We have used these bottles, along with glass bottles, since we brought our now 3-month old home. The vent design is simple but works well. My little boy doesn't swallow a lot of air when using these bottles and seems to like the larger nipple. These travel well with the separately sold sealing disk, which should be included with the bottle. As for heating the bottles, we use hot water, the Dr. Brown's bottle warmer, or warm the formula separately before pouring it in the bottle. There is a learning curve with these bottles because you can't see the milk level and have to learn how to guess-timate how much milk is left in the bottle. There is usually more milk left than you think. I have never used the sleeve with these because I don't think they get uncomfortably hot, although I know that is an issue for some people. The option to separately purchase a sippy spout will give the bottle another life as a sippy cup. Overall, I highly recommend these as an option to plastic.

Pros:1. Stainless steel - Website says its free of toxic chemicals and certainly BPA, BPS free2. Easy to clean3. Durability - I think its good enoughCons:1. The nipples are either soft and slow Or the fast flow ones are very hard. So my baby got tired of sucking. I am using Dr. Browns nipples which fit perfectly.2. Its not leakproof.. I have to make sure the bottle does not tilt and the lid is secured the right way.3. I haven't tested this for longer time like a day but if I store milk in this bottle for 4-5 hours it smells different. I have read we can sterilize the bottle in a solution with water and vinegar .. will try that to see if that changes anythingOverall , I like that I can send this bottle to the daycare (since they wont accept Glass) instead of plastic ones.

Update 6/11/16: We have used a total of 10, 5 Oz and a 11 Oz bottle in the past year (some kept at grandma's and some at our house). Our baby just turned 12 months old and we are going to use the sippy spout next. We have two colored bottles, one pink and one purple. There are no paint chipping problems in the past year. We are very pleased with these bottles. We did change to MAMs nipples.Update 9/7/15: bought one pink color 5 oz bottle. Pleased to find that there are no paint chipping issues. The bottle has not been dropped on any hard surface yet, I will update the review if I find any future paint chip issues.Update: 8/27: Have bought 8 of the 5 oz bottles in total and am very pleased so far with durability and ease of heating in Avent bottle warmer. Have changed to MAMs nipples Medium flow as baby prefers these over the stock low flow Pura nipples.Bought a 5 oz and 11 oz in bare metal due to the continuing reviews with paint chipping. Have since purchased two 5 oz. in bare metal. Bottle heats up in under a minute using a Avent bottle warmer, can also heat by running hot water over bottle while swirling it. This time saved is priceless when you have a bawling hungry baby during the wee hours of the night.Unfortunate to learn about the reported chipping as the colors are a cool feature. Wish there was a response from Pura Kiki on whether this issue is fixed. "Sticking" with no paint model for now.

This is one of the best products amazon is selling. Right from the first purs kiki bottle I purchased for myself, I don’t forget to suggest and even gift my friends this bottle.The only problem I found is with the nipples. They break easily specially if your baby is teething. So I had to buy 2 sets in a 1.5 years span.

Happy with the Product as stainless steel is any day better than plastic. Given that it's an imported product, the price seems to be on the higher side. Maybe the vendor should look at optimizing the price so that its affordable.
