Awesome unit for DIY'er, hobbyist, or to have one versatile machine at home
Full disclosure I am not a professional, welding is not my trade. However like many I do like to tinker and fix things around the house. Also I have prior welding experience. When deciding to refurbish our utility trailer I was torn between different welding machines. I decided to go with this one due to its flexibility and seeming ease of use. I was not disappointed. It can run on 120 or 240 V, I have it on a dedicated 20A 120 source, runs flux core, stick, or mig welding styles with easy change between all. So far I have only attempted flux and stick with reasonable results between each. Instructions are decent, but wouldnt say the greatest. I dont know that this machine would survive being your only machine if you were a welder, other tradesman, or farmer/rancher who welded alot. But if you are an at home type who just wants one machine for ease of use, storage etc, you should definitely check this one out

Great for beginners
I love this welder. I've never welded before but was able to use this welder fairly easily. I started with the mig and now up to using sticks. I'm still working through the initial contact while using the sticks, but I really like the way this operates! It's easy to switch from one to the other. I haven't gotten a tig setup yet, but I'm sure the set up is the same.

First time welding and its great
This is my first welder works fantastic. Only thing is on its lowest setting it will burn holes in exhaust or thin metal. You have to tap weld instead if running a line. Few sample weld pics. One is a bed frame other is welding two car rotors together.

It only does half of what it says, flux wire and stick welding only.
It’s a nice light little machine, works good for 1/8” steel with the provided inner shield wire, I haven’t tried the stick welder part yet. But the reason I bought it was because it said it could do mig and tig…. And it even comes with a mig nozzle on it factory installed…. But it has no place to hook up a gas line to my bottle…. So add that in with 20% duty cycle that the machine is capable of…. That instead of being based on an hour they based it off 10 minutes according to (The manual that came with it) you can only weld for two minutes out of every ten minutes…. I’m not a union guy so this is not a good machine for me lol. The seller today told me it can do mig if you buy an extra add on…. For a product named MiZg welder on the machine that they supply flux core with and no way to make it a MiG without an extra purchase…. Guess they should have named it flux core.
