This does exactly what you want it to do. For the price, I can't complain.I wish the handle was more substantial as it sometimes feels like it might snap.You have to be careful with it

I've no idea where the good reviews for this item arrive from, as my experience has been the total opposite. It produces (with great effort) rather small, weird shaped chips and, on my first use (the third potato I put into it) the green plastic grate shedded tiny pieces into the potato and ultimately 'broke' to the point this is no longer useable. Save your money and use a knife and chopping board. It's dawned on me that even if it had been better quality and hadn't broke the labour time it supposedly saves you is taken up when attempting to clean the item and the grated part after use. As useful as a trap door in a submarine. Avoid.

Weak material on the handle which can bend when trying to chop a whole potato, have been unable to chip a whole one in 1 go so have had to cut it in half which in turn makes the chips smaller, potato also quite easily gets stuck in the metal plates making it difficult to clean. It is however a handy peice of kitchen gadget that has enabled us to save money and make our own chips. If you like a chunky chip though this isn't for you as even the largest holed plate is what I would consider not far off an English French fry

This chipper works fine it chips medium sized potatoes approx size 4cm by 3cm with ease the larger ones need cutting in two or quarts or will cause damage to the Vinsani® chipper or even most chippers.Leaving the peeled potatoes in water for a short time before chipping softens them and makes it easier for the vinsani to chip

We use thisproduct when we arehaving home made chips. Afterpeeling and makingsure they fit within the blades cutting dimensions, it’s easy to prepare as manyasyou need, every one the samesize so you know theywillcook evenly. An excellent purchase.

It takes a lot of effort to get the potatoes through, unfortunately you also get little bits of plastic sheering off in your food. In theory its a good product but cheaply made and didnt even come with instructions. Huge waste of money

It’s cheap and it cuts potato’s into chips for me. That’s why I brought it. It makes medium and skinny chips. Not medium and chunky ones. It seems sturdy enough. I did soak my potatoes in water for a few hours and it cut them fine. It makes banana shaped chips due to the way it presses the potato through the cutter. If you want straight chips look for something at least twice the price. The chips however fit a bap (roll) very nicely. I would recommend but if you do have more cash or a family then I would say get something £30 plus that’s metal. So to me it’s fine but I can see why it has had bad reviews. If you make more than four portions of chips a week don’t buy it and pay the extra.
