Great banding coffee pot glass and it replace broken glass

Great, fits the 4 cup (500ml) Bodum Kenya perfectly.

As described, best price we could find, quick and easy replacement for the glass in our coffee pot! Although you can get aftermarket replacements which are good quality, too, (e.g. from John Lewis) the delivery makes them more expensive. So if you are near a John Lewis, great. If not, Prime delivers.

A suitable replacement.

The one set of dimensions that nobody seems to accurately provide on any of these replacement beakers are the actual dimensions for the pot, capacity isn't too helpful when its in 15 pieces on the floor. This product, the 4 cup, 1504-10 is 12.5cm high by 9.6cm wide at the bottom.It would appear that Bodum supplies coffee pots to other brands. I have a Whittard of Chelsea pot which is exactly the same design as a Bodum Chambord, just with a differently shaped top lid, so if you have an alternative, its worth checking the dimensions too.The replacement beaker is identical and fits perfectly. The only differences are that its in one piece and has some text on the back of the beaker.

Just what I needed

Broke the glass for my Bodum Caffetiere - gutted - had it for 30 years. I looked for a replacement and there are cheaper ones available but I am delighted with this purchase.

I got this after the original beaker on my off-brand 1000 mL/8 Cup cafetière broke. It has behaved wonderfully, sliding in and out the cafetière body without issue and staying firmly in place when fitted all the way in. It’s had no loss of heat (no more than what you would normally get in a beaker anyway) and I’ve had no problems with cleaning, a quick lather&rinse or popping it in the dishwasher will do.I’ve been most impressed by it when it survived the cafetière being swung at a wall, after the table it was on was accidentally toppled over. I really did not think the poor beaker would survive, but it was the wall that suffered the most, having come out of it with a coffee stain. I thought I was done with trying to ‘kill’ my beaker, but it turns out I wasn’t, as I was dancing in my living room one day and yet again hit the table the French press was on, and down on the (carpeted) floor we go. Imagine my astonishment when the press is yet again intact, not even a crack. But all good things come to an end, as I shortly thereafter managed to topple the table over once more, and this time my Bodum beaker had enough and exited in style, breaking everywhere, shards all over the carpet. It’s had an amazingly good run though, despite its over-the-top clumsy owner, and I shall be buying it again.Maybe I’ll get a sturdier table while I’m at it too...
