Nice little jug. Big use for coffee drinkers
I love this little coffee jug. It has a very sweet profile - not too big, not too small. The cap fits snugly and it holds four or more good sizes mugs (although you might need to recharge/replace the filter depending on how strong/weak you like your coffee.Back in the 70's almost all real coffee was filter coffee made either in a percolator or using filter papers - remember the Cona coffee jugs in every cafe and restaurant across the country. Then came the cafetiere in the 80's and everything was french and continental and people started buying pasta makers?I stopped using a cafetiere when I found the last one I used, unwashed (I thought it was clean), next to my tea pot and filled with mould. I know, I know, what a slovenly housekeeper, your thinking, but I'm guessing there are are a lot of people out there that have not washed their little jug of misery and its sitting somewhere, full of mould and despair, in their kitchen, plotting to take over the world.Use bleach-free filters. Enjoy pouring newly boiled water over deep/dark, chocolate brown grounds. Inhale the heady aroma of packet-fresh or newly ground coffee as it jolts you to wakefulness. And that's the point of this review. Finding a good coffee jug is like finding a good teapot. The essential requiements to make good tea is almost exactly the same as to make good coffee. The cafetiere was never needed - or asked for.I hope my review was of help. :D

A stable and secure jug
Very pleased with it, it holds the coffee, doesn't fall over (wouldn't, at this shape bigger at the bottom lol) and pours well.

great price and nice looking
For the price (Under £10) you can't beat it. Other branded jugs are at least double the price. This one looks nice too. I wish it held the heat for longer. even after heating with boiling water first the coffee is at best Luke warm after adding milk so bear that in mind.

Good design, perfect for coffee dripper
Good shape and size, thin glass so not heavy. Bought it to use with Melitta plastic coffee dripper, which sits well on the jug. Very pleased with it.

Nice jug and easy to clean
I like the style of this jug, and the fact that it is easy to use and to clean. I had another coffee jug that was very modern, but impossible to clean as the neck of the jug was too narrow... Since I've got this one it has become my favourite !Thanks

Good quality and looks the part when you have guests round for a coffee
Only problem is that it won't fit under a nespresso machine because the base is so much wider than the opening on the top, but I should have realised that.

Good product but....
I really like this glass coffee jug. However, I have only had it 3 weeks when a crack has appeared next to the handle at the bottom. It is shown just to the right in the picture. I've been really careful when using and washing the jug out, so it's disappointing that this has happened so soon after purchasing it. It looks great and is really easy to use. The price is great too.
