R3000 - Worked eventually but using a different method from the instructions
I had a seriously blocked printhead on my Epson R3000. I tried this using the instructions in the video but it didn't work. I really thought I was going to have to get a new printer but "nothing venture - nothing gain" I tried a different approach. The problem with the R3000 is that you can't inject the solution from the ink reservoir end and rely on the fluid working from the platen end. As I said, the overnight vapour method suggested in the video didn't work. I cut a small piece of 3mm perspex to form a swab holder measuring 2cm x 10cm. I then used a piece of J-Cloth folded over several times (at least 6 thicknesses) so it measured 2cm x 10cm.I then folded it over the end of the perspex holder so that 2cm was folded back underneath and the remaining 8cm on top.I then liberally soaked the top side of the J Cloth with Magic Bullet and then I was able to push the thick wad under the printhead. For some reason, I found it much easier to push it in from the right hand side.By using this method, the soaked swab was pressed against the underside of the print head where I left it for 12 hours.I had to repeat this process twice after which all the colours were working except VLM. I then guessed that the holes in the inkjet spigot may be blocked. The video suggests using a fine drill bit but I used a piece of fine wire which worked perfectly. One more cleaning cycle and all colours are working perfectly again. It was a bit of a faff but worth it as I saved £500 on a new printer. The only problem is that my hands are now heavily inkstained.I am going to order some more Magic Bullet as I am sure I will need it again at some stage

Not a magic bullet, more like 10!
I use an Epson R360 for photo printing and the printer head had become blocked due to lack of use for several months. I was looking around online for the best way to fix this and came across this product via a video on YouTube. This printer has a print head cleaner function which you would think should have resolved this issue without any other intervention needed. However as the print head was already blocked this function would only make this issue worse as the blocked head cannot clear any ink from the cartridge through the head.I ordered Magic Bullet to try and resolve this issue myself without needing to get a print technician involved at additional cost. The instructions that come with the kit aren’t very clear or well worded enough to complete the print head fix alone, I used information from a few places online including content on YouTube. First you need to put your printer into ink cartridge change mode, disconnect the power, then the print carriage is free to move. Put some folded kitchen paper towel under the print carriage and move it so that this is over the paper towel. Using the provided syringe and hose in the kit you draw up 2mm of fluid into the syringe and attach the hose to the printer nozzle and apply GENTLE pressure to the syringe to push the fluid into the print head to allow the fluid to break down the dried ink. You do need to be gentle with this at this point, if the printer head is completely blocked then you won’t be able to push the fluid through and the hose will disconnect with high pressure and spray in the printer and on you!I left the syringe in for a few hours to break down the ink, disconnected the hose, reinstalled the ink cartridges, reconnected the power and started to run print tests. The first round did not clear the issue but I did begin to see improvements steadily with this method. It wasn’t one application but several over two days but this has now shown very positive results.I would recommend looking at the step in the instructions about pushing the fluid into the print head and pulling back on the syringe to withdraw the particles in there back out into the syringe (discard this fluid and apply more). I started to do this in the last few runs and this really worked, the fluid from the print head started to come out clear once all the blockages has been removed. This is a good product and I would recommend it but you will need a lot of patience and time (and I used a full set of ink cartridges during the cleaning processes too) to complete this method to clear a blockage.

AMAZING PRODUCT! fixed my Epson 3880's blocked black nozzles.
AMAZING PRODUCT!Both dark blacks wouldn't print at all and every nozzle was blocked on my Epson 3880. Cleaning cycles made no difference and just used a ton of ink. Epson UK wanted £550 plus VAT to come out and even look at it, plus I had to have a full set of new cartridges on "standby" as well, something in the region of £900 in total. Another competitive company (Euroland you know who you are )charged £120 to inspect it did a quick wipe with some cleaner and declared the printhead at fault they then wanted £880 plus vat plus £60 and hour labour to fit it, all for a printer that I can buy new for £745.I figured I had nothing to lose in trying Magic Bullet before I started to strip the whole thing down myself so I soaked a bit of kitchen roll in the cleaner, stuck it under the printhead nozzles for 24hrs and hey presto it fixed it perfectly, every nozzle unblocked!Thouroughly recommend this product it's saved me a fortune in both money and time.

The product worked well and rectified a bad situation on the yellow and black ports that multiple head cleaning attempts failed to solve. However the instructional video on You-Tube" showed the attachment of the hoses from the syringe to the ink ports as effortless, this was not the case. The diameter of the tube supplied was less than the same on the ink-port/spigot making it impossible to attach. To remedy this I had to reverse the ends on the pipe on the syringe as the diameter was greater where it connected there. I would have liked to award more stars but this really annoyed me.

Magic Bullet printerhead cleaner
The print on my Epson printer had lines and some of the colours were very faint. After doing a printerhead clean with no change I did a bit of research and decided to purchase Magic Bullet. Followed the directions but now my printer does not print at all. I repeated the procedure as recommended and left it overnight, just blank pages appear. I foolishly also bought new ink cartridges. In total I spent £40 and could buy a new printer for £50. My advise is that if you cannot solve the problem with a normal printerhead clean don't bother with Magic Bullet. Just buy a new printer.
