Needs at least two coats.

This is the only product I’ve used so far. My manicurist put it on yesterday. I combined thus with a sparkly lavender color on 1/4 of tips. Great looking. Hope it lasts two weeks

I know this is a great polish, as I chose it at a salon ...

The bottle I received was quite thick and would not dry - even after 20 minutes with a thin first coat. I know this is a great polish, as I chose it at a salon with my pedicure. The color lasted for a good 3 weeks without any chipping, so I was excited to buy a bottle for use at home. Maybe it just needs thinner added to it, but at $15.95 a bottle, I should be able to use it right from the start with perfect results, so I'm very disappointed. I also bought the Water Park CND Shellac polish and it had the same problem. If not for that, I would give it 5 stars as I know what a great nail polish it can be.
