Expensive, but they work well! Installing a telescoping TV mount? Read this.
These worked about as good as I hoped. It made really good sense to me that the "wings" that open on the back side are flat and wide, giving it more surface area to grip compared to the old style drywall anchors that tend to pinch into the wall and cause a point of failure by getting the crack started - and, most people tighten them too much!As an experienced do-it-yourself guy, the MOST IMPORTANT thing to say is that the drywall anchor is only as strong as your DRYWALL!!! And, you can not defy the laws of physics (leverage) with a better drywall anchor. So here is some common sense info for you . . .Hanging something on drywall with a downward force is not the same as PULLING the drywall, by way of leverage. If you are looking to hang a TV flat on your wall, this WILL WORK. But I noticed a couple other reviewers tried to use this to mount a "telescoping" tv mount, you know, the ones were you can pull the tv 2 feet away and tilt it or turn it in any direction. Please understand that when fully extended, the weight of your tv is applying TREMENDOUS leverage which is essentially applying a pulling force on the upper mounting screws. That type of TV mount needs to be mounted into a beam - at least ONE screw needs to hit a beam, and then these anchors can work fine to augment the strength. The other reviewers who complained about this product not working. . . Look closely in their photos, and you can see that it is the WALL that failed, not the anchors. These anchors work great, but they can not help you break the laws of physics and common sense. So if you can't find at least one beam to screw into, simply don't install one of those telescoping mounts, or, avoid pulling it out all of the way.I found the installation quite simple and easy, the included drill bit is of course the right size, and the mounts screw in quite easily. Note that you do NOT need to over-tighten the wings, just a simple quarter turn is all you need in order to open the wings in the back. Also, do not over-tighten the screw that goes in the middle, because that's how you damage the drywall is by over-tightening.The only negative to using this product is that it certainly will leave a 25mm/1" hole behind to patch if you ever want to undo this. While I feel that these are extremely over priced at $12 for just 4 mounts, considering the TV is worth $2,000, it isn't worth trying to save a few bucks and honestly these are the best drywall anchors I have found for this purpose.

Awesome shallow wall, exterior wall, difficulty wall, hole repair anchor!
Wow, Great product, particularly in Florida to solve a difficult issue! Which is hanging something on an exterior wall with concrete block behind it where there is limited room between the drywall and the block. These are the perfect anchor because they're low profile in the wall but expand wide. And they're very good quality. Love the design and I think it's genius for this specific use. I would use them for other installations as well, including anywhere that an anchor has pulled out and you need to expand the hole without moving the location... Forexterior drywall walls, shallow depth walls, especially where there's concrete behind them, it is a wonderful smart solution!

Easy fix
So far, so good! Shelf is still on the wall, lol. Very easy to install. The only issue I had, if you even want to call it that, was that once the disk is on the wall, there’s no way to see if the tabs opened all the way.

Good for certain applications (changed my mind; they stink)
I bought these to replace some mangled hollow wall anchors installed by the previous resident. If you’ve ever tried to remove those anchors, you know they leave a gaping hole, even if you remove the collar and push the rest of the anchor through to the back of the wall. So, when left with a gaping hole, you can’t use standard anchors any more, so these are a good option (because they require a gaping hole). They hold well. But, beware, watch a video first and do not over-tighten. They strip easily. I would not consider them reusable.Update:Have more experience with these have decided they stink. Extremely easy to over-tighten and strip, so tightening them down is completely unsatisfying. Half a turn too far and you’ve ruined it. There will no warning. You’ll know only because whatever you’re hanging will sag.

Worth every penny! Easy to install, secure on the wall.
Where have these been all my life? These are so amazing! I had a heavy 25lb framed painting that is 4½ feet tall by 3½ feet wide, that pulled a hundred pound picture hanger( that theoretically should have supported the painting) right out of the drywall. I couldn't use a standard drive in wall Molly because it's on exterior block and stucco wall and there's not that much depth between the drywall and the block. These were so easy to install. The drill bit was perfect worked nicely in my greenworks cordless drill, I literally pushed the Molly into the wall and simple twist with my hand screwdriver and about a bing bada boom My painting is now securely hanging in its place on the wall.I love the fact that it can be removed and used over and over. I love how ridiculously easy it was to install. A basic electric screwdriver, toilet hammer and manual Phillips head screwdriver is all you need.I have many many many many many many plans to hang things that I was afraid to put on these cinderblock walls that have drywall just skimmed over them. It's like these were made specifically for this task. I'm not limiting their use to just hanging art. I just secured my Hemnes shoe cabinet to the wall using these! Excellent value for the money. No more will I monkey around with the overpriced picture hangers with the pathetic short flimsy nails for too much money! Not worth the risk of damaging my art.
