NO- NOT the "Tybee Harbor Premium Wine Opener"
I bought this bottle opener for my daughter (for Christmas), who is a wine drinker and just moved into her 1st apartment. I have a very similar one in a magnetic box, which also contains a handy bottle top cutter & an extra corkscrew: however, mine also came with a bottle top purer & plug as well. After 20+ years, mine never broke or let me down in any way... The Tybee Harbor Premium Wine Opener came yesterday. The (CHEEP) cardboard box needs to be re-glued on 4 sides and the Tybee Harbor Premium Wine Opener is 1/4 the weight (of mine) using brushed aluminum and plastic opposed to 100% stainless steal (like mine). I gave it 3 stars (really 2.5) because the design really is the easiest way to open corked bottles and the "Cyber Monday" special pricing. If I had to get another one, be sure, it WOULD NOT be the Tybee Harbor Premium Wine Opener...

Solid design, works very well. Only complaint is that I cannot put it in the drawer with the rest of my wine gadgets because the arms open up and get jammed when opening the drawer. Resorted to a rubber band.

Works okay
Works okay. When reversing to remove the cork, it damages the cork. I have go un thread the cork by hand to avoid destroying the cork. Not as good as la Creuset cork pull but much cheaper

Opener works
The wine opener looked and worked as expected but the packaging it came in was of poor quality. The box in which it was encased fell apart once removed from shipping box. The glue was exposed.

OK quality for the money but most of the time it pushes the cork in the bottle instead of screwing in it.Look for something else!!
