Schwalbe Fabric Rim Tape 50mx15mm Roll (Workshop)

I bought some plastic rim tape but the edges were sharp and I didn't want to get a blowout miles from home. This fabric tape is perfect.

The old tap needed replacing as I was getting too many punctures. This seems to have done the trick. Decent price too.

Very good quality rim tape for my mountain bikes rims with a little bit of tape to spare. Used on MTB ATB BIKE 26 x 1.75 if that helps.

it's rim tape. good old fashioned fabric stuff. for commuters/traditionalists. wrap it round twice for even better protection.

A roll of this will do more wheels than you think and if you use odd wheel sizes its almost certainly the most economic way of doing things with least waste.To get the best out of this often ignored essential, make sure you have the correct width for your rim, fit to a clean, dry rim bed, keep an even tension as you fit and overlap at the join for @ 50mm and of course make sure it is well seated to prevent creep. I usually fit the tape blind over the valve hole then use a thin Philips screwdriver or bradawl to make a valve aperture once its all in place.
