Shock and dustproof but not waterpoof , Happy
Well, its sturdy. The frame feels like its steel ?!? its that weighty. It has a rubber bumper surrounding a 2 piece metal shell with a hardy screen protector, it feels like gorilla glass but may not be. The internals are well lined with rubber and well cushioned. All the controls are pretty usable without requiring too much pressure. It does require an allen key (supplied) to open and close it....I would say it is shock proof, dust proof-ish, definitely not waterproof as the rubber seal around the power and headphone socket are too flimsy. The camera hole on the back is literally a hole for the camera so , on the good side, the camera will take good photos , but on the bad side, it will let water in.Overall surprisingly pleased with it for what i want to use it for.

Great for holding but a little heavy
Appears really good and will be great for my 3 month travels. Great holding the phone in the case feels really secure, did a drop test and all in tact. However this is very weighty, but at least the price outweighs the weight!! Pardon the pun.

Very well made. There is a bit of weight behind it but great grip, solid case, and certainly very bright which is what I wanted

Solidly made a bit heavy but I like that , stands up well to my 13 month old who thinks its a great to drop daddies phone

Awful smell
Although it is very well-made the internal rubber shock tray has an awful pungent smell about it also it did not come with any tools to unlock the screws !
