A good overall value vaccum cleaner.
First of all. Thankyou to direct vaccums for a faultless, speedy service through amazon prime. The vaccum itself looks very basic, although I was pleasantly surprised just how good this vac is. It is lightweight and easy to carry, picks up every little crumb and gives the carpet a nice gentle stripe. Very easy to empty the waste and replace it back in.we are a family of 3 and quite a large dog and it left the carpet spotless. For the price, you get quite a good vaccum cleaner. However, a few downsides. It does not work very good on wooden, lino hard flooring. Can be a bit hard to push sometimes on carpet, and the cable is a bit short. But I'm pleased with my purchase. Given it a 5 star for value for money, and overall a good product.

Decent vacuum for price but not without flaws
Although the vacuum cleaner looks very basic in design, you get surprising amount of performance from it. It's lightweight and easy to carry and the suction is powerful enough to lift event tiny crumbs/hairs from the floor and gives a surface a clean strip. It's also very easy to dispose of waste and replace bags which with practice can be done in under 20 seconds. My only gripes are that the cable run is a bit short and the suction arm doesn't have as strong of a suction compared to the main unit. This often requires me to go over the same spot several times or manually remove dirt. I also noticed that the suction fails a bit when placed on a hard surface such a wood or tiles, however i do believe that has more to do with using the wrong type of suction head which isn't supplied. For the price, you get a decent vacuum cleaner and if you can buy the necessary suction head for hard surfaces it will last you a long time. If you're to look past the small issues i think this is a solid investment and worth you time considering. Overall a good product and worthy of 4 stars.

Absolutely fantastic and very affordable.
I got this Hoover as a replacement for a different brand that turned out to be useless. I wasn't expecting much from this, as after all it is a £50 vacuum cleaner, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It is light and the suction is fantastic while still making it easy to push around. My dog is a husky/German shepherd so you can imagine the shedding! This Hoover picked it up with ease.To put it in perspective, I used the other vacuum cleaner for a week before I replaced it with this and the Hoover was full after just vacuuming my living room. I was planning on just using this for a few weeks until I got a Dyson but I'll be sticking with this. A fantastic budget vacuum!

Hoover broke down after 3 months, don't buy.
When this first arrived I was very excited. It says it should work well on carpets and its lightweight, which are 2 things I was keen on.It is Lightweight indeed and the first 2 times i used it, the suction power was very good! Shame it started breaking very soon after. The band broke 4 times and after 3 months the whole Hoover broke down (started smelling like burnt, no suction at all etc ). Looks decent at the beginning but it's cheap and poorly made.I would reccomend to skip this and get something a little pricer but sturdy.

OK but with reservations
Good points, lightweight and a good price, I would not have paid more, very powerful but as others have said hard to push over carpets unless you are are very fit!! It has great suction power, but sadly the cord length is far too short, I had to change sockets in one room!, it now has it's own permanent extension lead, it also does not have an extension for the hose so you have to bend down to make use of it, not suitable for many. It's OK for my upstairs vacuum but would not suit for the whole house.

Great little Vaccuum!
Saw this product on Argos however, decided to see if we could get it next day delivery on Amazon. It was £10 cheaper and got next day delivery! (Woop!) It's extremely powerful and nice a small for storage. Assemblage was easy, you just need a screw driver to undo the screw to put the handle in. Very powerful little hoover and did a great job.Only criticism is that the wire is quite short, however, we live in a small flat so this is not an issue but you have to unplug it to do seperate rooms which can be awkward if you lack plugs!

SORRY HOOVER BUT YOU SUCK😁
I hate to give feedback when it isn’t in anyway positive. Pros: yes it’s lightweight and yes it has good suction. The cons are many. The power becomes a negative when you use on a hardwood floor and it sucks to the floor and the dust can’t get in to the Hoover. There is no locking mechanism so when you use the hose it keeps falling over into your tables of ornaments and either knocks them off the table or smashes them. The hose isn’t long enough. I estimate it’s about 4 ft from the body of the hoover and no extension to give you extra reach. The cable isn't long enough! The pet attachment is there purely as an ornament it’s useless, all it does is spin round and make noise. Overall I spent £70 on a brand I recommended in the past. I really hate to say it but I wish I could return it but I’ve wasted my money. I will have to buy a different one and hope it can tick the right boxes.

Fantastic sucker, value for money.
What a great little vacuum, it's a cheap cheerful little thing for those on budget. It is great for removing dog hair, (I have two huskys that shed enough fur that if you made wool from it they could make sheep redundant) and it picks every last bit up, only slight Critisism is that it becomes impossible to push if you go against the carpet thread, but you soon figure out which direction to go. Easy to empty, just twist and pull and everything falls out, twist to lock shut again. It is definitely a great buy.
