A smart sweep
Vileda is a leading brand, and this product reflects some smart design thinking.The first thing I noticed was the clever feature that allows the brush to slot neatly into the pan handle—no more lost brushes, as both parts can and should be stored together.It’s lightweight, portable, and easy to store. The bright red colour also makes it easy to spot, so it’s unlikely to get lost at the back of the broom cupboard. As with similar products, there’s a rubberised edge along the front of the pan to help sweep debris in more effectively.So far, so good.However, I did find the pan a little on the large side. More notably, dog hair tends to cling to the plastic surfaces of the pan, both front and back, which makes it less ideal for homes with shedding pets.

Best dustpan and brush
Have purchased a few of these dustpan and brush sets over the years. They do last quite a while. The dustpan would last for ever, its the brush bristles that get a bit frazzled over time and splayed. Cheap enough to replace every few years or sooner as required. It's the only dustpan set where the dustpan actually lies flat along the rubber edge to the bits you've swept up go in the pan and not under it!

The brush is cleverly designed with fine black bristles that easily pick up dust and smaller particles, while the stiffer red bristles are perfect for getting into corners—no more frustrating bits of fluff left behind!The dustpan itself has a rubber lip that sits flush against the floor, which means everything gets swept in with one go—no annoying line of dust left behind. Plus, the brush slots neatly into the dustpan handle for tidy, compact storage.Overall, it’s a small upgrade that’s made a big difference in my daily cleaning routine. Highly recommend!

These are amazing value for money, so strong, easy to use, and I love the color.

Best in class.
It's cheap looking plastic, it doesn't have a 'modern' design or a fancy bamboo handle...What it does do is sweep up dirt and dust really, really well. The pan lip stays flat to the floor, the brush works well, and it slips together and goes away in a cupboard nicely on a small hook. I should have bought this years ago instead of any of those much more expensive modern designs that looks nice but don't actually work.
