Bought this for a fancy dress party. No, seriously, I did. And when Andy eats a banana, he becomes... less hungry and more filled with potassium; but if I'm wearing this at the same time I do feel a bit like bananaman. Blast from the past and the quality's pretty good really for something that's not exactly regular wearing. The shoe covers won't last too many wears, but hey-ho. Oh, also I had to cut the eye-holes out a bit more since they're not very well placed but all in all I'd recommend this. Also, the 5-year old nephews kept nicking the gloves and legging it with them, so Banaman got out of breath pretty quickly, but if you remember bananaman being a great super hero, want to look like him, have a fancy dress party coming up (or just dress a bit differently to your average Joe) and don't mind not getting years out of a costume, buy this.

I bought this for myself and it gives fairly generous room and looks good. the over boots only just covered my shoes but the rest is a good fit. the free gift is a let down as it did not arrive and when I chased it up they sent an 80cm one with a puncture and not the promised 5ft 6inch one advertised. when I again contacted the company and Amazon they chose to ignore me.Be careful to avoid disappointment. Bought for a stag do and was very happy with the quality. Looks just like the picture. Padding needs a little rearranging on the arms and chest after you put it on to make it look good. I am 6ft2 and 34 waist so bought a large to be on the safe side and fitted fine.

For the price you couldn't ask for anything better. Cape is actually longer than it looks on the picture. Fit is good, even for us slightly larger people (I bought the XL). GOt a great reception from other party goers too.

Bought this for a charity event and with being from the same place as this guy it was real hit. Great costume and fun to wear.

I've wanted a banana man costume for a while now and I've never had a good enough reason to get one (Not that I really need one but the missus says otherwise).But with October 31st dawning upon us I thought it'd be worth investing in one.Once it arrived, I knew straight away the £30-odd quid spent was worth it.The fit was pretty good (I'm relatively small - so between a 36-38 chest) I was worried about it being too big as even though I had ordered the smallest size it was still a Medium (which is to fit 38-40 chest.Fortunately you can control the tightness with belt (which is partially attached to the top) and the fastening of the top.The belt takes a little bit of faffing to get the belt lined up right, but there's a bit of leeway.The boots covers and the gauntlets on the gloves are made from flexible foam.Although the boot covers seem a bit small around the feet I think if you wearing converse or plimsolls it shouldn't be a problem (any other types of shoes might cause some problems)The gloves seem to fit ok (obviously they had to make them to fit most average sized hands) but I have the unfortunate talent of having dainty hands - as the other half puts it. But if you have problems like me where your fingers don't quit fit a pair of white cotton/woolen gloves should help fill the gap.The cape is attached to the mask/cowl, and being bananamans cape it's split into two (lol banana cape), it's a nice length, depending on how tall you are.Overall if you're thinking on buying an easy costume that definitely turns heads I would say definitely advise purchasing.
