Have used the JossaColar Wood Stove Thermometer for a few fires now and so far it is working great! Initially, I did not think I would need two, but now I'm glad to have both.Easy to tell at a glance if your fire needs to be hotter or if it is too hot. Takes the guesswork out of getting the most optimal fire. Works especially well for me since my stove does not have a glass door or viewing window so the only way I can tell if my fire is dying quickly is by using the thermometer.The magnet base makes it easy to stick it on the stove. The magnet is strong enough that the thermometer stays in place, but with the flip-up handle is easy to move around easily.The only complaint I would have is one of the thermometers in the 2 pack has faded in color after a few fires, but the functionality is not affected. Honestly would not even of noticed if I didn't have another one to compare to, does not bother me personally, but buyer beware that colors could fade.Would Highly recommend it to others, worthy of a 5-star review.

For the price this is acceptable. We use it with a very efficient wood stove outfitted with an insertable catalytic converter.

Mounted 18" above the stove top is where i have the best readings. When confirmed with infrared laser the temps can be pretty consistent. Excellent magnet. A bit on the small side but still easy to get a quick indication of whats going on in the flue as well as a guess at the stove top temps. Great price and actually the only product i saw that wont fall(weak magnet), burn/fade the color, malfunction and lose spring tension. Time will tell as ive only had a dozen fires, but for now i very mediocrely recommend! Haha

Just so that you know, these stove gauges are junk. I bought a two-pack, and they must not be related because they aren't even close to the same. And they're getting worse after using them about 15 times One tells me the single wall stove pipe is 400 degrees, and the stove is knocking the door on 600—Chinese junk.

Amazon screwed up the order so it took a few weeks to get it. But the product itself is awesome, and the seller checked in a few times to make sure I got it.

November 23, 2023, we ordered the ‘JossaColar Wood Stove Thermometer Magnetic Stove Pipe Temperature Gauge. It came quickly to our home and installed with great ease! It was so simple for the magnet to simply attach to our stove pipe…and thus began our entire winter of monitoring the intensity of the heat coming from our wood stove. It was accurate and helped us to keep our heated area from getting overheated. I highly recommend this device to help you keep your heated area safe from over heating. Very affordable and easy to use.
