Great case for a great price!
I am the proud new owner of a Galaxy S4 and paranoid about hurting it, so I wanted a case that provided excellent protection without being too thick or costing too much. With this case, I got exactly what I asked for.The case has several features that I love:So much about this case is designed to protect and compliment your phone. It's made up of two different materials, a soft cushion on the inside for absorbing shock (light grey) and a somewhat more ridged outside for providing protection (black). The outside is still slightly flexible, something that is nice in your hand as well as functionally protective. There is even a third layer of a small rectangle (ultra cushion) material on the center of the inside to absorb and disperse extra impact. The border around the screen is made up of the softer material and allows you to turn your phone face down without risk of scratching the screen. Perhaps the most unique feature is the padding on the corners of the case. They are made up of a very flexible material (similar to the small rectangle inside) and provide incredible cushion. The material actually goes all the way into the interior layer of the case on the corners to help absorb shock. Despite being extra careful, I have dropped my phone twice (on tile) in the time I've owned it and there has not been any damage whatsoever. The case is very light and pleasant to hold. It's fairly easy to put on and remove, but fits the phone perfectly, not allowing any sliding. The texture on the side aids grip (e.g. while wearing gloves). Despite being so protective, it is remarkably thin. My brother has the identical phone but uses the Otterbox Commuter case and his is noticeably bulkier than mine. Since this case is firm but flexible, I feel more confident it will absorb shock more effectively.I found this case for an excellent price and have greatly enjoyed it. I've never used a Dualtek product before, but I would highly recommend this case to anyone.

Almost perfect
Like a lot of things in life, phone cases are a compromise. Build it tank tough and it won't fit in your pocket, too weak then what is the point. I had a Samsung Infuse and when it died I moved on to the S4 (which I really love). My Infuse had a Ballistic case which offered a lot of protection, but so much it interfered with the functionality and ergonomics. This case is pretty close to striking the balance I want. First a little about me, I take care of stuff because I am cheap I guess, but I also take my stuff in some pretty bad places. This phone will be with me when I am cutting firewood or under the house fixing a leak in the water supply. My Infuse died when a Camelbak leaked on it in my backpack while mountain biking, so I need something a little more than a case to protect it while in the boardroom. This case is a little overkill for that but maybe just a tad shy for mountain biking. I wish the rubber bumpers were just a little thicker and more cushioned. The buttons work OK through the case, a little stiff but I like that. It allows access to the entire screen which is a plus, something the Ballistic + Infuse did not. I plan to keep it and throw it in a ziplock bag when it may be exposed to abuse. I got the white for my son and the yellow for me, both look great and very well made.

Very Durable Case, Works Great
I purchased this case for my phone because the S4's case is pretty flimsy by default (a sad reality). This phone case was reviewed by CNET and they actually recommended it. Here are things that I like about it:The case is very sturdy. The back is thick and protective and the sides, though not as thick, are still very sturdy. The side grips on the case are very helpful. It helps to avoid the slippery feel that some cases have. The case is aesthetically pleasing. I prefer the coloring on the case and it doesn't have anything obnoxious or stupid on the outside (like many other cases).Though I like the case, I didn't give 5 stars for a few reasons:The spacing around the headphone jack is incorrect. I had to actually use a dremel to remove part of the case so that I could fit fat-barrel 3.5" cables (such as those often used to connect the phone to your car). I shouldn't have to modify the case like this. I still haven't been able to use a fat-barrel 3.5" extender (like the ones from RadioShack). You cannot take this case off easily. See the aforementioned problem that requires me to remove the case sometimes. The backplate comes off the phone and it's a rather obnoxious experience.Though it doesn't bother me too much, pressing the side buttons takes some effort. I have big hands so it isn't that bad. However, when my wife has my phone, she has a time trying to press the side buttons.

Good case, fits my needs
I ordered two of these cases (Matte Black and Kayak Yellow) after seeing them at a local retailer. I was looking for something that was protective and with some grip as most other cases I have used on the phone have been very slippery. After having the case on my phone for a few days, these are my pros and cons:Pros:1. The case seems like it would protect the phone very well. I am careful with my phones, but accidents happen and I think this case will protect it well for my needs. The rubber bumpers on the corners are a nice touch.2. The case is slightly grippy, but not as much as I had hoped. The 'rubber' on the sides helps a lot and overall the case is much easier to hang on to than most others I've tried. There is a fine line between grippy enough and too grippy. Not enough and it is slippery - too much and you cannot get the phone in and out of your pocket easily. So far, this case seems like a good combination.3. The case has a high bezel around the front of the phone to protect the screen if it lands or is set on its face.4. The case fits my Galaxy S4 well and all of the ports are accessible.Cons:1. Could be a little grippier, but it's a fine line.2. The case makes the phone significantly bigger, especially in width and thickness.3. The phone in this case will not fit in my iOttie One-touch car mount. I will have to order the XL iOttie.Overall, this is a good case that fits my needs.

No Regrets
PROS- extremely durable and strong- protects phone from the greatest of impacts- comfortable to hold- easy to press side buttons compared to other heavy duty cases- fast delivery (got it a day early than stated)CONS (I had the galaxy s3 model before so some problems may be fixed)- colour MAY become dirty and darker slowly over time- transparent matte layer MAY begin to peel off at edges/high contact areas such as buttons after 1.5 yearsOVERALL4.5 Stars

Five Stars
Fits perfectly, seems durable, side buttons a little hard to press due to rigidity of the rubber

Great product
Great product. perfect fit and good level of protection. BUT the only problem is that from the back of the cover, it makes a little bloat that will make it unbalanced to lay on the back on the little pillars associated, instead , it stays and could be easily spinning when laid on the back.

Tight fit.
This is a great case if you're looking for really good protection for your cell phone. Great bumpers on the corners. One of the most important things that I was looking for when purchasing a case was the grip. This case gets 6 stars in that department! I tried the Otterbox Commuter and it was one of the worst cases I looked at. No grip whatsoever. If there is one negative thing to say... is that it's a VERY tight fit. It's a real struggle to get the case off. You almost need a crowbar. Thankfully my cell phone, with the case on, fits into the new sport band that I just purchased. So as long as you have no reason to take the case off, this is a great case. My cell phone feels very protected.
