Buying these bows is fine ... if that's what you want. They come in TWO pieces and a connector in the middle. That means you will need to make TWO cuts if you want the pieces to be even. Much simpler to just get the SINGLE piece bow and cut ONCE !

Like many of the low ratings I found that the brackets the pieces fit in are not deep enough and to wide. I am trying my second attempt at getting it to stay in place when we get heavy rain. Really not satisfied with this purchase, hopefully my latest modifications will work.

AS I BOUGHT TWO IT WAS KIND OF A DIFFERENT APPROCH NEEDED AS TO I WANTED TO DO. IT IS WORKING GOOD FOR MY BOAT COVER NOW. I DID HOWEVER USE A POLE FOR ENFORCEMENT I WAS ALWAYS AFAID THEY WOULD POP OUT AND HIT SOMEONE.

GREAT PRODUCT BUT THE BRACKETS THAT FASTEN TO THE SIDES OF THE BOAT COULD BE A LITTLE DEEPER

They work well, but I wish the connector would be more positive. It’s too easy for the two halves to separate when installing.

Bows seemed well made. Pay attention to description, thought it came with two sets but it’s only one that’s in two pieces. The socket holders are way too large for the thickness of the bows. One falls over as I’m going down highway because of all the slop. Overall not a bad product.

The true measurements of a single piece of fiberglass is 48 long, 1.57 in wide, and 0.127 thick. They will barely support themselves and in the sockets (1/2 x 2), they pivot and fall out. It's a very nice piece of SS used for the splice to make one bow. Be sure to get screws. They don't ship any. Also, if you cut, use a thin grinding wheel as anything else will shatter the fiberglass. Run a strap from the windshield to the first bow, then to the second one, then to the stern or both bows will pivot, collapse, and break the sockets. update. Run 3 straps to tie the bows together. What misrepresented junk. Good bows will be 2x1/4, one piece. I'm trashing these and going to find the bows that a friend has, 2x1/4.

This is a nice product, but it sounds like you get 2 of them. You really only get one and it is a 2 piece unit.
