Excellent piece of kit, easy to assemble, because I was installing this on my own I did the work by fitting the canopy in two halves, which actually wotked well for me. Dimensions given in the instruction leaflet were actually 5mm oversize (on each half, when checked against the assembled canopy), so I made up a drilling template to suit and the holes lined up perfectly. I opted to use rawlbolts, instead of the items supplied with the canopy because there is no margin for error if the holes drilled into the wall are slightly oversize there is a problem getting the rawlsheilds to expand enough to grip the hole.The canopy looks very stylish and does offer a lot of protection to the door from wet weather. All in all a great item.

Really excellent canopy, well designed, nice modern look, very robustly engineered and easy to install ! Definitely made German to quality standards! (You can put it up in 2 halves, but you will still need 2 people).Notes; a 10mm drill works fine for the sleeve bolts (9.5mm is specified) . You will have to Trim the side rubber seals slightly with scissors to get a perfect fit. Overall much, much better than the cheapie ones, a solid recommendation!

This was very easy to assemble. Installing it though was less so. The instructions say to use a 9.5mm masonry drill bit for the masonry bolt holes. The masonry bolts are 10mm but I did however drill as per instructions and was not surprised when I found the holes were far too small. I redrilled with a 10mm masonry bit and the fit was still so tight that I was not prepared to take the risk of the bolts getting stuck halfway in the holes and then becoming impossible to remove. I widened the holes slightly and this worked fine.The instructions say to tap the bolts into the holes with a hammer. This is possible for the lower bolts but much less so for the upper ones as the bracket is in the way of the holes.It is a shame that Songmics did not supply two additional rubber sleeves to close the gap between the rear support beam and the brickwork. They recommend the addition of sealant to this and as ladders cannot be placed against the canopy, this can only be done if you can access both sides of it. I cannot as my door is right next to my neighbours fence so had to install half the canopy, add the sealant, then install the other half and add the sealant to the second half. Rubber strips would have made the canopy 95% waterproof with sealant only being needed where the mortar is indented from the bricks.Having said all this I do like the end result and recommend it as a cost effective option for anyone. The fact that it has just shrugged off 60mph gales is ample evidence of its sturdiness!

Like the fact the canopy has a middle brace as well as the two end braces. Used as a canopy over the back door to keep the rain from coming in.

Went together easily. A bit tricky to put up on the wall, definitely a two person job. Looks good and seems to do the job of keeping rain off the door. Hope it stands up well in the wind.

Delivered promptly, well packed. Word of warning, instructions are translated from German, I misunderstood that you have to knock the bolt holders through the unit rather than straight into the wall, this meant that the top bolts did not reach. This was fixed by buying M8 rod & nuts, but the bolts provided are a strong permanent fitting. Another tip is to assemble the unit first, then using greaseproof paper draw a template to ensure the drilling positions for the bolts are in the right position. Good sturdy product, very impressed.

I bought this on the strength of the other reviews, and I was a bit perplexed, as the canopy did not seem very 'sturdy'to me, which was what some of the other reviewers had said. The arms which are fitted to the wall seemed to be made of plastic ( as is the screening) and we were expecting something more substantial. However I have since discussed the product with the manufacturers, and they have assured me that the curved bracket is made of PPO engineering plastic which is more corrosion resistant than metal, preventing any rust, and the cover is made of high quality thickened PC solid slab (thickness: 3 mm), which is weather resistant and durable to use. The communications with the company have been first class, informative and helpful.

Vedremo quanto durera' e se resistera' gli elementi meteorologici. L'unica pecca e' che l'altra mezza non va avvitata alla prima e quindi rende l'istallazione un po difficile. Ci vuole una persona d'aiuto. Il vantaggio e' che a struttura e' elegante e leggera.

Das Dach haben wir nun seit 2 Jahren. Es sieht immer noch aus wie am ersten Tag. Die Montage ist einfach und kann auch von einer Person alleine ausgeführt werden. Bei den Kunststoff-Halterungen war ich erst etwas skeptisch wegen der Optik, aber es sieht gut aus. Nachbarn haben auch schon gekauft.Wir über legen nun, ob wir ein größeres Dach für die Haustüre kaufen. Wir können das Dach nur empfehlen.

Es una marquesina relativamente fácil de montar, aunque para ponerla en la pared, lógicamente, se necesitan dos personas. Estéticamente queda muy bien y los materiales son de calidad.los tornillos son de 9,5 pero una broca de 10 sirve perfectamente. Muy recomendable.

Ya hace que la tenemos colocada y ha salido muy buena. Recomendada 100%
