I've been buying this for so long and you really have to try this! No more spending my cash at a Starbucks or any other place! Mine is used for cold coffee in the summer and hot coffees in the colder weather 😉 I make sure I'm never without the delicious stuff! I just ordered the double pack and you really have to try this great tasting crystals! The media could not be loaded.  Ghirardelli has very rich chocolate with their regular hot chocolate mix, I never tried frozen hot chocolate mix before and I'm really not sure what the difference is but the taste is totally different. (This review could be viewed as their frozen hot chocolate review or regular)I followed the directions on the back just to see how it would be following them. There are 2 scoops included, 1 big one and 1 small one, the small one is only 25ml so to get 1/4 of a cup you need to use 3 scoops, but I found using only 2 scoops of the mix is enough for even the 16oz servings so the directions are very generous so you can get away with using a lot less. There's also another bigger scooper that has the already required measurements so I don't really know why they needed to have an extra smaller scooper in it but it's good to have.After blending, it's like a frozen hot chocolate shake! It's so good, different than regular hot chocolate. The chocolate is a richer flavor and smooth chocolaty taste, but not like their hot chocolate which is too rich for my taste, I think it's perfect. If you want it more iced you can add more ice and even make homemade ice cream.You're getting 3 pounds of mix so that's 31+ servings per container, so a total of 6 pounds and 62+ servings. The sugar is 29g which is pretty high and you can definitely tell that it's there, but it makes it so much sweeter. I make this almost every other night and I completely love it!

There is a lot of sugar in this frappe mix, so moderation is the buzzword with this one! It is Ghirardelli so of course you can expect delicious chocolate goodness. I really like their brownie mix. If you’re going to use a boxed brownie mix, Ghirardelli brownie mix is a good one!! I haven’t baked with this frappe mix, but it might be good in brownies, cookies or any baked item. What I made with this mix was frappe frozen ice pops. I used a mini ice cube tray , so they were more like frozen mini coffee bites. The taste was definitely Ghirardelli goodness! Great mix for yourself or for the coffee lover in your life!

I love ghirardelli chocolate and coffee. Mix the two and i'm going bananas! Simple recipe to follow and it comes out so good! Thank god it came with two containers because the first is almost done! I do share so that's also why its almost gone. Too much sugar for me alone. Would recommend for sure!

I love hot chocolate, especially in the winter months, but to have it year- round is great. I love my blended frozen coffee drinks year round. I didn’t realize that they made a hot cocoa flavor until I came across this one. How I make mine is I add a scoop of the hot cocoa powder, milk, ice, and cold brew coffee, adding all in my blender. You could add another scoop depending on how much flavor you want. Mine turned out great with one full scoop and it tastes amazing. They do include a scoop which I found was a little large; but when making it the way I do, it makes it easier to measure. When making several servings like I do it ended up being an added bonus. If you like frozen drinks and you like hot cocoa, then I recommend you try this mix.

I was excited to try the Ghirardelli Mocha Premium Frappe Mix and I was not disappointed. The two cans are huge and will last me for a while. The chocolaty taste is delicious and it adds a nice flavor to my morning hot coffee and afternoon cold brew. I found the taste of chocolate to be rich and kind of layered, it wasn't too sweet at all, which is what usually worries me. The added coffee gives me an extra caffeine boost, which is great for when I need an energy boost during the day.The "By The Cup" scoop that comes with the pack is very convenient and makes measuring out the mix super easy. Although the price may seem steep, the quality and taste of the product are well worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this product to any coffee lover looking for a delicious and convenient way to spice up their coffee routine.
