Like a lot of other reviews, the child's seat belt is the only real negative on this item. Doesn't hold well, too slick. I mounted it on each side of the seat using the screws that attach the handles to the base.The seat itself is well made, really like the side arm rest design over the other models I looked at.The hardest part of the installation was getting the nuts onto the screws on the metal mounting straps (fat fingers beware). Once this was done, I was able to get a pretty solid setup that appears to be working with my 2.5yr old.I've gone out a few times with him and he's still there when we reach out destination... that's a good thing.

Seat is cute and holds my 4 year old well. However the straps that attached the seat to the rack are not very strong and back rest is no longer attached and we’ve only had it 2 months. Quite disappointed we can’t return it. It should has lasted way longer!

I purchased this rear bike seat for my e bike to pick up my great grandson from school. He loves riding in it and I feel at ease knowing he’s safe and secure riding on the back of my bike in this seat. I highly recommend.

Not normally one to leave reviews but my son and I just had the BEST time riding my bike together, just had to leave a good review! I shopped all of the kids’ seats available and decided on this one. Some of the past reviews mention a seat belt that didn’t come with instructions…well this seat didn’t even come with a seat belt so I guess problem solved haha. I bought a seat belt designed for wheelchairs and it worked perfectly combined with this seat! Highly recommend doing that for anyone that wants that extra security with your little one back there. If you look at my photos, you’ll see how the seat belt works. I was able to attach the belt to the actual bike rack so it’s super secure and really holds my kid firmly in the seat. As for the seat itself, my opinion is it’s well worth the price point. Decent quality, good cushioning for little bums, attaches securely. Not bad for the price and my kids absolutely love it. They’re fighting over who gets the next ride! Only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is I would have liked a seat belt included rather than having to buy another product.

-Their QC is poor, the L brackets were both bent in different ways requiring real effort to make them square again.-The manual is outdated and does not match the current shipped model, it is poor to explain the process and what screw/bolt to use for each step.-The foam on the handles are not glued on and will quickly fall/slide off during use.-Everything is just very cheap, not worth even close to $60, this is just bottom of the barrel low quality.-Still after all that I would have kept it and used it if not for the fact that their max width size is wrong and it did not fit my 7 1/4 wide rack.-If you do intend to buy this I highly recommend a low powered electric drill to assist as this uses 22 screws, with 18 of them needing to be removed and replaced and all of them need to be threaded heavily.UPDATE: I tried pretty damn hard and was able to get this seat mounted on the bike, my spacing is 6.5" and barely fit, any wider and you wont be able to mount it and the straps wont reach where the bolt threads to secure it. This is still a cheap seat not worth $60 maybe $30-$35, but it seams their is not many options outside of some other cheap alternatives of the same design.
