Amamani Puzzle Balls Paperback – 6 Oct. 2014

The basic puzzle ball structure is easy to get to grips with, and the idea behind the animals is fun and inventive - but just as a warning - the shaping on some of the heads is really rather complex by amigurumi standards - I'm an experienced crocheter so managed but it was a fun and impressive skill workout.The explanations and photographs are fantastic though - just thought I'd slightly forewarn people that the shaping is complex with lots of short row working, working part rows and swapping between working in rounds and rows and back again. I enjoyed the challenge though - normal amigurumi can get a bit boring after the umpteenth round of increasing and decreasing DC.

Struggled with the pattern I chose to crochet. Wanted to knit the dinosaur.but got stuck on the head.never been able to compete it.

Nice toys to make, but looks a little complicated, will give it a go through

Love this book! I made the turtle first and I am very pleased. I found the pattern easy to follow, but I definitely wouldn't call them easy patterns!

Not as many patterns in it as I thought there would be.

Very clear instructions and a great idea! I thoroughly enjoyed making this for my grandson. Easy to follow with photographs to help. Already started on another one.

Love it!! its hard to follow if you jump in and go straight to doing one of the later animals, instructions are a little vague here and there but by looking at the photos from each of the different animals you can work it all out!

love the book not tried any yet but patterns seem easy enough to follow, may add to this once i actually try to make one :D
