So glad we found a found a food jar that is easy to open and has a wide enough opening to fit your hand in comfortably. Keeps food hot for hours. We have not used it for cold food yet. Plenty of size for soup or leftovers. Great for when the kids take lunches to school.

This is a great on-the-go container for keeping foods either hot or cold throughout the workday. I'll heat food (usually homemade soup) until piping hot (in a separate bowl of course, don't ever microwave this or other steel!) and then put it into this container. From 5am to 2pm, the temperature is still hotter than warm, which is great when I don't have access to a microwave. I also use this for cold food as well, like cold melons, tuna salad, or chicken salad. I'd say it does the best job keeping food cold, since you can refrigerate the entire container overnight. The wide opening makes it easy to use, it's dishwasher safe (I always put mine on the top rack), and it's so sturdy it could survive an apocalypse. The lid's seal is also so good that it will basically ferment whatever is inside! I accidentally left watermelon in it for 2 days, and when I had to pry the lid off, it popped and the watermelon inside had become super fizzy. Crazy! Definitely don't forget food inside it if you're leaving it out all day at room temp! Since this thing is good forever, I'd say it's an amazing value and very functional for the daily grind.To visualize how much it can hold based on what I fill it with:• about 2 cups of soup• a whole can of tuna• a cereal bowl's worth of hot oats• probably half a cup or more of chopped melons, as long as it's chopped bite-size and not in chunks like the grocery store has it• around 1 cup of grapes

The media could not be loaded. Daughter requested a larger size Stanley lunch thermos for middle school. This one doesn’t come with a spoon, however, it definitely holds more than the smaller Stanley size. Check out the picture + video demonstrating the size difference. There is a screw top that makes it easy to open and close. It has a nice chic, clean look to it. Fairly lightweight. Will keep food hot for about 5-6 hours, after that it appears to lack the ability to do so. Would be hard to break or damage this thermos. Well constructed with good materials. Cleans easily and well.

Keeps everything cold or hot, the only issue I had was when you put something hot in it and tighten the lid, it can become too tight and too difficult for my daughter to open it at school. That’s why I got four stars other than that, it’s perfect.

These food containers are super convenient and durable. I use them every day for meal prep, and they keep everything fresh. The lids snap on tightly and I’ve had no issues with leaking. They’re microwave and dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup a breeze. Great quality and perfect size — I’ll be ordering more!
