Q: Do all the black panels inside make the tent hot?

I have the 6 person and it absolutely is hotter than heck. Black always is. It doesnt reflect the heat. However The ventilation even with the fly on is really good. So as long as you dont touch it you will be fine. I think the heat escapes out of the tent with all the vents. It was hot inside. The main benefit is you can sleep in this during the day. I dont remember the LAST time I work up at 8:30 in the morning in a tent. I am usually up RIGHT at 6am. So while it is hot. If you are curious give it a go. I loved it. I used it in 90 degrees and high humidity. It was GREAT! (I did have a little battery operated fan/light)

Q: Does this tent have a hook inside of it so a lantern can be hung in the center?

Yes. 3 positions. As you walk in the tent: Left, center, and right on the ceiling. 3 spots you can hang a lantern. Great tent. Buy it!!

Q: Can you purchase an additional room divider?

There is a room divider in my tent package. I always forget what it’s for when unpack the tent after a period of time. :) I’m not sure if you can order another divider panel.
