Martin D28 Style - Guitar PLANS to Build - Full Scale acoustic guitar

I just received these plans and have started reviewing them. I'm slightly worried because I'm already seeing details that do not match the D28. For example, the scale length differs by a tenth of an inch, and I'm worried about their suggested placement of the scarf joint. It seems like it will be in a location that won't offer much stability for the headstock, and doesn't seem to be how Martin does their joints. I'll have to double check that. These are just initial inspections, so we will see how the guitar turns out. Also, the picture you see above is EVERYTHING you will get. It has all the major measurements, but lacks in some details that would be nice to have. Also the package they sent me came with Christian leaflets inside that I didn't appreciate. I don't want to be proselytized to when I buy guitar blueprints.

Very complete set of dimensions and shapes for the D series Martin. Essential for making templates, jigs and forms. With these plans and the right selection of woods, a very good start can be made to replicating the Martin sound, and a fantastic woodworking project to boot!

while providing some detail such as the thickness of finished wood, basic shape and profiles, and bracing layout, this is only a single page of what seems like it should be a set of plans. Unless you are an experienced Luther, or very well read this does not provide enough information to build from scratch.

It was very helpful! I built my own guitar for the first time when I was in high school my senior year. It is very well to the point on how to build it.

Disappointed that these are plans are for a "Dreadnought guitar" not the actual Martin D28... Now I notice Martin D28 "STYLE".

Great plans all of the dimensions are right on just not to scale so do not scale the drawing.
