Jane Carter Scalp Nourishing Serum, 1 Oz

I bought this product, knowing that I probably wouldn't be able to use it quite for it's intended purpose.I am a natural blond, and it is not possible for me to use this as a leave in scalp treatment without making my hair look greasy. I knew that this would be the case when I bought it. That is the nature of an oil based scalp product, and I can't knock it for being what it is.I have issues with a dry itchy scalp, and I bought this product, the scalp renew product, and the alcohol free locking spray. I have been pleased with them all, and they have greatly helped my scalp feel better.I use this product a couple of times a week, I apply it to my scalp, leave it on for 4 hours or so, and then lightly shampoo my hair without rubbing the shampoo into my scalp.The oil smells terrific - largely due to the Ylang Ylang in it. I guess some people would think that it smells a little feminine (I'm a man) but I don't really get hung up about that kind of thing.I don't think that I will buy this again though. I have all of the essential oils that are in the product in my cupboard except the Ylang Ylang, which I can easily pick up. I will just make it myself from now on using Jojoba as a carrier oil instead of sunflower.I have been very pleased with the Jane Carter products that I have bought, and they have greatly improved my itchy scalp. I won't try their shampoos as they contain sulfates, and my skin cannot handle those. The three products that I did buy have been terrific though, and I recommend them if you don't want to mix your own (I will buy the locking spray again, though)

This product right here is the truth. I have seen a tremendous amount of hair growth just one month. I no longer have a bald spot in the middle of my head. I use the product on my hair in the evenings and use a silk scarf to sleep in at night. I give my hair a hot oil treatment once a week and sit under the hooded drier for 15-20 minutes so the oil can penetrate my scalp. My hair feels absolutely wonderful. No flaking! No dandruff! No itching! A small amount of oil goes a long way so don't over due it. My hair is very healthy now. THANK YOU JANE CARTER.

I’ve used Jane Carter products Off and On for years . I have a problem with her products at all it helps my hair grow. The Scalp Serum is pretty good and which I are use on my hair when I just wash and braid my hair.I’ve been searching for this item for quite some time I didn’t know they had on Amazon and tail I look and research it and when I receive it today and open the box my question is,Why did my product came with the bottle half-full?

The media could not be loaded. This product worked great for me. I was losing my hair and developing bald spots until I started using it. Now I'm seeing new growth. My scalp was very dry from the climate in New Mexico, age and medications. This product as well as Jane's other products in this line have saved my hair. Highly recommended.

This product was recommended by cashier in vitamin shop store. Base on her recommendation, I have purchase this product and the right about this product. It help heal the dry scalp problem I have. I weave a sew in weave and most of time, my scalp will become dry. I remember the first time I try this product, I was not a believer but now I am. It works, It really work to stop my dry scalp problem. I would recommend this product that it works, smell great and wash out easily from the weave and it is non greasy

I bought this product to combat dryness on my scalp during the winter months. I bought it along with the revitalizing leave-in conditioner and the nourish and shine cream. I did not find that the serum helped with dryness at all. Also, some of the product had leaked out when it was shipped to me. I think it may be more useful to use the nourish and shine on my scalp, since it has a thicker consistency.

Been using it for two weeks and I’ve already noticed an intense difference. Going to purchase two more! I initially bought because my scalp has been dry for months but it also grew my hair dramatically. So happy I researched and found out about this hair care line.

This product stinks. It did not live up to the claim it made. Even the top somehow come loose on it own. I still have it on my vanity but do not use it anymore. Even with the smell I would have used it all if it lived up to its claim.
