Is the crotch a straight seam to fit a panty liner?

The crotch is sewn side to side more like mens underwear but I would think you could still panty liners

Are they really 95% cotton? One of the reviews said they were not

Obviously they need a material that makes them stretch a bit, so they are 95% cotton and 5% spandex with the wide elastic band at the waist. They are very comfortable.
