Awesome bit of kit
Absolutely fantastic bit of kit.As a carpenter this gets a substantial amount of use and six months later it is still going perfectly as if it was brand new.Can't fault anything about this and would hold its own against any of the other makes on site, but making it a steal at less than half the price of them.Would definitely recommend to anyone.

So good so far. Arrived a day early than expected so person who I bought it for didn't get the suprise present as they signed for it. Otherwise can't fault.

great tool. did not contain 1/2 inch collet, once purchased collet it worked fine for cutting worktops

Great router
Superb router lots of power and great on the worktops

Felt nice and solid out of the box
Felt nice and solid out of the box. I use 1/4" router bits, so I changed the 1/2" collet to the 1/4" collet supplied, put the bit in, tightened it and then untightened the collet to let the bit out. Only it stayed in, jammed. This happened to another customer on another website, What a shame that a nice bit of kit is ruined by a poorly designed but integral piece. I sent it back immediately.

Trying to help
Don't buy pile of s**t poorly made and gut less I'm a bench joiner by trade and use routers all the time. Hitachi are rubbish nowadays and its cheap for a reason get what you pay for
