Strong, Economical, Versatile Thread/Cordage
Excellent tensile strength, well made, and economical thread/cordage. Purchased as a signal trip line, but useful for very many purposes like sewing, fishing, and lashing small objects.

Great product for mid-power model rocket shock cord mounts
Great product for mid-power model rocket shock cord mounts. Use this instead of the paper mounts that come with some of the mid-power model rocket kits. Just tie one end to the engine mount before gluing it into the rocket, and attach the other end to the shock cord, which then attaches to the nose cone. Durable and effective.

Sturdy, thin cord with a multitude of uses
"Never travel far without a rope! And one that is long and strong and light...They may be a help in many needs."-Elf to Sam Gamgee in JRR Tolkien's Lord of the RingsI'm an avid camper, hiker, and backpacker and I find the elves wisdom about ropes to be eternally true. You can never have too much of it. In this case, the product is less of a proper "rope" and more of a braided line, but it is thin, light, and serves a multitude of purposes. This spool is only 30 feet long, so it's not going to give you enough length for a lot of uses, but as a spare guy line, clothes line, lashing, or quick repair, this should get the job done. At this weight and size, it can easily be stowed away into the deep recesses of your pack until you need it without adding a burden to your pack weight.I find the line to be durable and strong. While I haven't tested it's 200lb limit, it was tough and difficult to cut with scissors. It says you can use it for fishing, and while that's probably not it's ideal use compared to proper fishing line, it certainly could serve as fishing line in a pinch given how light and thin it is.Take note that this line will fray fairly easily on you if you don't affix a knot at the end of it. Since it's flame resistant, you cannot easily fuse the rope with a flame. Given it's slender profile, it's rather impractical to think of whipping it either. Just be prepared for it to come unbraided on you and put a few good knots in the end to minimize the fraying.Ultimately, I'm still partial to my paracord for it's size and ease of use, but this makes for a very lightweight and pack-friendly addition for those who think like the elves and Sam Gamgee.

Archery Crossbow Cocking Device repair
I purchased this to replace the cord for my crossbow crank cocking device after the original had frayed to a dangerous spot. I had to figure out the type of cord I was dealing with(using a caliper gage), then discovered Kevlar is extremely durable and strong. My compound crossbow has a 200 pound pull, so the cocking device needs to be reliable. This diameter is perfect for it. I waxed the cord Samaras I do the bow strings. I've restring the device and used it several times now confidently. I'm very pleased because now I've spare cord for this kind of repair. This happened in the middle of deer hunting season. I'm also disabled for the disclaimer, so I needed the cocking device operating safely. Excellent product for this.

Great cord to use to secure a location or even just to have in your prep stash.

1 mm is quite thin.
I was surprised at how small the 100 feet spool of 1mm cord is. 1 mm is very thin. I can see how 100 feet fits on the small spool.
