only if you distort them. If you are after SPL, there are a lot better amplifier choices for subs out there. 5 channel amps are mainly for small systems where a person wants more than stock but not an outrageous system. distortion is the biggest destroyer of voice coils, not power. You are more likely to drive this amp into clipping if high SPL is what you are after. it will run a couple twelves well, but nothing super- maybe in the 130's or so. also if you are running a 2 ohm driver, the 1 ohm output is irrelevant. If you are running two 2ohm drivers then that would be 250 to each driver which is 200 less than your sub can take. get a bigger amp if you want more bass. hope this helps, not sure how many subs you are running.
