I actually got these to feed to desert beetles (BDFBs), but I am also giving them to some picky isopods. Only one out of my three cats likes them, but he will eat anything so I'm saving these for my bugs. Even my pickiest pods, P. werneri, like these! It's fun to watch the beetles play tug-of-war over them, and of course watching Dairy Cows swarm on them. They are surprisingly un-stinky for a dried fish product, and nicely intact.

My cats assure me these are the most delicious snack available on the market. They demand them all day long. “Mother I must have a minnow!” they screech.They get a breakfast plate of tummy friendly puree, fish oil and probiotics, and I like to add a little topper of straight up unadulterated protein. Freeze dried chicken was popular, but these minnows are the number one favourite.There’s lots in a 1oz bag, and lots of varying sized fishies. They sound satisfyingly crunchy, but not hard.Surprisingly, they don’t smell strongly fishy or gross, which is a big bonus. I can’t speak to longevity or shelf life, they don’t last long enough around my two to find out!

My one cat loves these!! I need to order more & they last awhile. Great price for a bag like this!! They make her coat very soft with all that fish oil. I don't have to break them in half either, she chews them right up, tail & all. They're not hard but easily chewable & the color is just like a minnow color, silver. I use them as a snack not as a bowl of cat food. They're like a delicacy!! My other cats have nothing to do with them. So not for picky cats.

These are a HUGE hit with my kitty, Eleanor! Sometimes I will give them to her as a midday treat, but for the most part they are a “side” to her dinner. I also love that they are just one ingredient, and no fillers are added. Definitely would recommend!

My cat loves these, unfortunately a little too much… her hairball treats and other treats she using to be so excited to eat, she refuses to take now. So if you can afford minnows for your cat often, this is the treat for you.

My cats love these and so do I. I trust the ingredients to be authentic and good quality. I don't usually feed my cats freeze dried treats and it's been a recent thing I have been doing and I'm happy to say its going well for their diet.Nutrition wise, freeze dried treats are great for pets and keep them healthy, especially single ingredients like these. I have not noticed any diarrhea and they love the taste of the heart. I do believe these also keep their gum and teeth health in shape too.

My 6 month old kitten loves the minnows! He’ll eat one in two bites. I think they’re his favorite, above the freeze dried chicken heart, breast, and rabbit bites. The minnows are small enough that I feel comfortable giving him one whole as a little snack. They definitely smell fishy, but it’s not unbearable to me and I guess it’s a bonus for cats.
