Sweet brush
The Loew Cornell Ultra Round Golden Taklon is one of two brushes that I use consistently in my watercolor painting.. My painting instructor highly recommended it, This brush holds the paint well so large areas can be covered relatively easily, and the tip is perfect for fine detail. I am a beginning watercolorist. To begin with I bought an inexpensive pack of brushes but soon replaced these with this brush and a round size 12. What a difffence these two brushes made in my work! My round size 12 brush is an expensive red sable brush, but I find I am equally satisfied with the performance of this inexpensive Loew Cornell Ultra Golden Taklon. I highly recommend this high-performing tool.

Wonderful Brush
I have a lot of watercolor brushes (some VERY expensive ones), but this brush is one of my "go to". It holds a fair amount of water and a terrific point that always snaps back. It also wears well. A great value!

Nice Brush for Beginner
I’m new to watercolor and wanted a brush that was good quality but not crazy expensive. This brush is great - it holds water nicely and flows well. Glad to have started with this brush - results very encouraging and will continue practicing.

My new favorite
This brush exceeds my expectations for ease of use, exquisite control, fine tip and resiliency. It surpasses every other watercolor brush in my collection in it's size and style. Highly recommend!

Under-rated
This is a workhorse brush whose fine tip stays but which has a lot more belly than its appearance would let you think could happen. It is also forgiving, so that if you do not clean and point it after use, and find it fuzzy, you can wet it down and 'snap' it, and the point will return.I use them a lot to make my watercolours and tile projects both, because when they eventually do wear down, you don't feel awful as you might had you been using a Kolinsky sable!pat chapin[...]

Good brush.
I have purchased several different watercolor brushes but this is one is a favorite. It holds plenty of water (paint) and it keeps a good point.

Great watercolor brush.
This brush has become my favorite #10 synthetic. It comes to a fine point, which is very useful in detail work. This painting was done with the Lowe Cornell #10 and a one-inch flat brush only.

My favorite round brush
This is my favorite round brush. I use these for watercolor and acrylics. I like them better than Kolinsky Sables because they are firmer, snap back better and point more easily. In other words all the advantages of sables with some extras. And you cannot beat the price.
