I have seen so many ads for these types of curling irons…. But I had no idea how they really worked.I saw how beautifully styled and wavy/curly it made the hair of others who have purchased this tool and reviewed. So I got myself one during the Prime Deal.Getting the hang of the tool only took ~10 mins. I was grateful for that because I had just recently learned out to use the “wand” curling iron and it was so hard for me to get the hang of it after years of using a traditional method curling iron.So this curling iron is nothing like either of those. This is just so easy to use that I can use it while I’m watching movies or even sitting up in bed. It has great temperature settings and it displays the degrees of heat on the front so you can choose the right temp for your hair. This tool allows for consistent curls that look wavy and beautiful around d a 1 inch barrelI seriously love it. It really feels like a revolutionary invention for hair dressing, hair design, and how women will be doing their hair in the future. I am definitely obsessed with doing my hair now that I have this curling iron, and it took probably 40 min to completed the first time but I was very distracted by a show. The second time, it took me 5-20 minutes depending on how many curl and how much hair you have.The 4 beeps function is epic. This curled will tell you when your curl is finished heating around d the barrel and you very simply put your hair strand, spin in desired direction, wait for the beeps, and move on!I love mine so much I actually bought the curling iron for a gift to my sister in law.I used a heat spray and let dry when applying any heat.It really does work! Positive that this new tool is the latest and greatest tech innovation for women’s hair care because it allows you to style your hair but with the protection of its hard plastic outer layers that is made to lay against your head. So that’s another interesting feature, you can hold the outer layer against your head and you do not get burnt. I thought that was wild. Due to the fact that you do not need to monitor the closeness of the hot tool to your scalp, and it gives you some freedom to watch tv, text, and basically use one hand to rest the barrel of the curler to my head and the other hand freely for whatever else I might need to be doing. Typically curling irons need to be held a few inches away from the scalp to avoid burning the skin with the tool. This curler almost completely prevents a change of burning the scalp or fingers by protective hard outer layer that does not feel even a little hot, even when I raised the heat to its maximum. That’s HUGE, lol. This feature also makes it a great gift for younger ones who might like to curl their hair but your not sure you want to hand your kid a completely open hot iron that are actually the source of many serious burn injuries. Curling wands sometimes come with gloves which can protect hands but forearms are often burned. I just find this design really neat and safe. The other smart safety feature is the built in self timer that locks when you turn it off. I believe there are 15 minute - 17 minute -19 minute timers which are genius. One of the greatest anxieties one will face in her (their, his) lifetime is the thought of being unsure of whether or not you “unplugged your hot tool before you left this morning”. That very real fear is also almost eliminated because it will turn off according to the timer but it will heat up super quick if it does happen to stop if you have a long of thick hair and it isn’t enough time.Not only does this tool feature enhanced safety features and an increased ease of use, it makes your hair look absolutely stunning. It makes a beautiful way/curly beachy loo and brushing out these curls look sophisticated. I ended up buying a second one for my sister in law and she loves it. I think the pink one is the least costly of all the colors or at least for now it is.Overall I am impressed with this new design innovation and love using it!!I know how many of these are on the market and this is the first time I’ve bought an automatic curling device, so I’m not sure if this is the best option but it certainly met my expectations and hopes.If you’re on the fence or think it might be too complicated to figure out how to use, I would definitely recommend getting it and just using it a couple times. It took me months to get the hang of the wand iron but this took me less than 10 mins to master, making this newbie friendly, safe, affordable, comfortable, and great at making a beautiful curl. I am not usually a big writer on Amazon reviews, but I honestly think this hair tool is something to be excited about if you want to curl your hair but aren’t familiar with the technique.

This is a long read but it is what I did and I am very impressed with the results! I seperated my hair into two main sections, parting in the middle from front to back. I put a band on one side to keep it seperate. I then sectioned the other side by one inch sections from the part down and running from my face to the part down the back of my head twisting and clipping each section over the top of my head. Leaving only the bottom section undone. I then seperated that section into one inch square pieces. If the tool senses too much hair it will start to beep and release the hair so that it doesn't get tangled and trapped. Just remove hair and hold down the power button to stop the beeping and then you can continue. I found that if I held it against my head pushing the strand slightly up it would take sections that it thought would get tangled with no problem. The outside of the tool is completely cool to the touch, so there is no chance of getting burnt. There are two direction buttons that you can push to roll hair towards your face or away. I rolled each side away from my face. You can also rotate directions with each piece which will give you the beachy waves look. Hold the botton until it stops rolling. This will ensure that the hair is curled all the way to the bottom. Once I curled all sections working my way up, I repeated the same thing on the opposite side. I did find a couple tiny pieces that did not get rolled so I just rolled them all by themselves with no issues. You can set how long you want to curl your hair as well as the tempature, and it will automatically remember this setting each time it is tuned on. It can be changed if desired. I changed mine as I started on a lower heat just to be safe. I have normal size strands of hair but a lot of it, so I used a setting of 385 degrees for 15 seconds. I brush out the curls using my fingers to give it a softer look. You can use hairspray on your hair before curling. It comes with a tool that easily cleans the barrel. I did one side and sprayed the other after curling, they both looked great. I use Freeze It hairspray which works great and it's cheep. I also rubbed a little bit of the CHI Silk Infusion through my hair before curling which adds extra shine, and I always use Treseemme heat tamer spray before using any heated tool on my hair.I care for my husband's 96 years young uncle, and gave him a bath later in the evening after curling my hair. I figured the curls would be gone do to the humidity, but I was shocked when I saw they weren't. I went to bed thinking they would be mostly gone in the morning. Nope! While the curls were a little softer I just ran my fingers through them and they looked great.This tool is amazing! For $63.45, which is cheeper than what you would pay at a saloon to get this look, you can't beat it. I'm happy to say it will not be going back and is my new go to for hair styling. I feel like I'm doing an infomercial, but I love it! 😂

I’ve tried this out on my hair at 2 very different lengths and it’s excellent and very easy to use. (Mid/lower back and shoulder length).It does everything for you. It holds the hair, curls it literally with the push of a button and beeps at you when the curl is ready to come out. All you have to do is section the hair. And even if you take a big chunk and “make in angry” as I say (it just stops spinning and beeps at you. Nbd), it’s super easy to correct because the hair is not clamped anywhere. You just take the tool away, press power to call it down, adjust your section and go again.Bonus, you would have to really work to burn yourself. The hot barrel is almost totally surrounded so there’s no concern about burying your neck/ears/fingers and you can just set it right doses on the counter while you get your next section.My only thing is that I think with a tool like a straightener you can do different shapes (straighten/curl/wave) and as far as I know this tool can only curl (in both directions). So I wish it was a little more versatile.
