A great book to learn to write and read music in - 6 staffs per page, so nice big lines and lots of room makes it easier to help learn and teach. The books are great for all ages and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Bought as a present but my daughter now wants one as it was so pretty. Ideal for music lovers, beginners or advanced.

JUST WHAT I WANTED, LARGE STAVE

My daughter loves this book and she is a new learner so it's useful to have it with wider line for practices. Good value and also useful information at the last page of the book too.

Bought for my daughter who has just started piano lessons. Perfect for her to use and very reasonably priced.

Lovely book ideal for purpose

As a music teacher, I ordered several of these as I knew the cover would appeal to younger students. Unfortunately, I have to return them as the printing inside is unsuitable, which is a shame as the cover design and size are perfect.The printed staves (groups of five horizontal lines) in the book (six per page, 12 per two-page spread) each begin and end with a 'double bar' (two vertical lines one thick and one thin). Firstly, most written music doesn't begin with a double bar (just a single line) and, by putting a double bar at the end of each line, it implies to the student that all their written music can only be one line long!A suitable manuscript book for a beginning student should only consist of the horizontal lines of the stave and leave the placement of vertical bar lines to the student composer.Also the Theory information at the end of the book in that it omits information about C major/A minor, a key that most beginner players (with the exception of players in the string family) begin with, yet includes information about keys using seven sharps and flats, which they will only encounter at extremely advanced levels of study which seems wildly odd!

Bought it for my son, he only just started learning. He has been enjoying it greatly so far.

GREAT front page, my little niece absolutely love it, great paper quality as kids can be a bit rough!
