Great camping chair for cheaper than a Helinox
I have used this chair on a couple of backpacking trips so far, and it has been great for the price. The main downside is the slightly heavy 1.75 lbs and really low sitting profile. It is pretty well built, holding my 225lbs. The chair has survived me sitting on only 3 of legs on accident, as well as plopping myself down into it fairly hard a few times. The biggest downside is how low it is, but it's really comfortable and great for stretching out your legs in. Getting in and out of it, especially after a long day of hiking, can be a little difficult. However, it is a great all-rounder.

Light, durable and comfortable
Great chair! Light, pretty compact and very comfortable! I was wearing of the mesh part being too flimsy but it is actually a firm fabric and seems like it will last a long time. I love the low to the ground hight. Got it for backpacking and I am very pleased with it !

Compact packable chair, a bit hard to assemble
I bought two of these for a trip to Hawaii. I actually ordered a couple different chairs to see which would be the easiest to pack, and this was the most compact. It’s very lightweight and fits into a small drawstring bag. The seat is mesh so it dries quickly and you don’t roast sitting in it. Absolutely recommend for a packable chair. The downsides—it is kind of a pain to assemble and disassemble. After the first day, I ended up throwing two of these assembled in the back of my rental car so I wouldn’t have to fuss with it every day! It also tips over backwards fairly easily. I would set it up and lean it forward slightly to make it more stable.

Amazing value, very comfortable
Easy set up. Lightweight. Cheap. Perfect for my use. I didn’t wanna spend $150+ on the name brand chairs so I ordered this one. I have used it on countless backpacking and camping trips. It has held up to all elements, survived being dropped countless times, and still works flawlessly. It is very comfortable, I prefer it more than a regular folding chair. Definitely recommend for a lightweight but budget friendly camp chair.

Great portable beach chair
Ordered this for a trip to St Lucia so I wouldn't have to just sit on the sand all day. Best purchase ever, I used it constantly. Easy to set up and take down, packs up small, felt very well made and durable. We'll see if it lasts in the long run, but so far, it was awesome.

Poor design
I'm willing to sacrifice comfort for weight when backpacking/camping, but this is ridiculous ..it's like a "trick chair" -it'll throw you off /you'll fall back if you're not careful. Yes, it's one of the most lightweight chairs available, and the materials quality is good (although not the smartest design ie bulky), but it's not comfortable - it actually requires a lot of muscle engagement to sit in it... you must always sit with your legs straight out otherwise you will fall back. You can't bend your legs, have you knees up, or be in any other position other than stretched out with your legs straight. It's almost more like a cot than a chair. This is ok for a moment, but the upper back /neck /thoracic region quickly fatigue and it makes you just want to stand up to relieve the strain. It's worth 2 stars, because it's UL and beats sitting on the ground, but only for a moment. For the same weight and less dollars, this "LACAL" chair (on the left) wins 100 times over. Check out the difference in the frames.. the Treckology chair is like having to balance on a beam in the middle.. it's so wobbly, low, and doesn't let you relax your body.

Not strong
I bought this a month in advance for hiking trip. I set it twice before the trip. It was easy to use and set up. First use on the actual hike, the bar toward the front of the chair bent under my weight. I weigh 150 lbs. I had no other weight on me but the clothes I was wearing.
