Great Mud Kitchen!!!!
The media could not be loaded. This mud kitchen didn’t have any reviews for it when I brought it, but it had all the features I was looking for at a reasonable price (I paid $140): Pretreated wood, working faucet, working knobs, chalk board, oven storage, and included pots and pans.Shipping was efficient and on schedule, everything was packed tightly into the box and well sealed. The instructions left some steps up to interpretation, but my husband figured it out and assembled it by himself in a couple hours. He had to drill a few of the holes, but he’s handy so it wasn’t too troublesome. He said the faucet had an attachment for a shower, not a hose spout, so he got an “Everbilt 3/4 in. FHT x 1/2 in. MIP Brass Adapter Fitting” from Home Depot for just under $7 and now it’s attached to our hose bib and ready to go 24/7. I was pleased with how easy it is to use the faucet. I pictured a standard faucet with knobs when I was initially shopping for a mud kitchen, but it’s a huge bonus to be able to pull it out easily and wash down the kitchen. It looks JUST LIKE THE PICTURES. It’s nearly the same size as our Kidkraft Uptown Play Kitchen in our playroom. I was really pleased with the quality of the wood and having it pre-treated was a must-have for me. The water beads up and wipes/drains off, water does not seem to absorb into the wood at all. I noticed a crack or two in the wood, but nothing substantial - overall the quality is great. All the hooks and features mount securely and the kitchen itself is sturdy. There’s even a bonus rack with hooks that pulls out from under the sink which was a nice surprise (probably for pan storage). The towel rack on the side is permanent, so you can’t put a roll of paper towels on it, but it’s perfect for a kitchen hand towel. The oven door magnet plate is misaligned a bit, we’ll need to fix that, but it opens and closes easily. The knobs for the burners make a satisfying clicking sound as you turn them, too. I know the kids will love that feature. Also included is a set of pots, pans, and utensils with a thin hot pad. If you’re familiar with the Melissa and Doug stainless steel cooking set, this is considerably smaller, BUT I think they’ll work well with the size of the sink bins (which are a bit smaller than I was hoping, but still a functional size). The included Mud Kitchen Menu Card is super cute; however, it’s not water proof 🤦♀️ it got rained on and the paper didn’t dry well, which feels like a massive oversight for a mud kitchen - I love that they included this, but it should be well laminated to have any chance of mini mud chefs getting good use out of it.Overall, this is exactly what I pictured and I’m super pleased with it!!! I looked at dozens and dozens of mud kitchens in all price points and this was the only one with everything I was looking for, the price point I was comfortable with, and no additional work for me to customize it (outside of the hose bib attachment). It seems like it’ll be durable to endure a lot of play and weather outside, but only time will tell. Hope this review was helpful!

Door completely broke off in three weeks.
EDIT: Customer service was very responsive in remedying the situation. They were surprised our item warped/broke so quickly and will be speaking with the factory and working to ensure quality going forward. My son still has fun with his mud kitchen despite the lack of door and the warped top. It’s an excellent design and I truly hope they can address the quality issues so others can be confident shopping.————-My son got this for his birthday less than three weeks ago. The instructions for assembly were pretty clear. It was time consuming but no major hiccups.I did have to buy the house adapter that another reviewer recommended. I got it at Home Depot.Within three weeks of a mild Indiana summer, this mud kitchen is falling apart. Where are you to keep a mud kitchen if not outside? The wood finish is coming off in a lot of places. The “oven” door initially quit fitting well and was scraping. And then it just splintered and broke altogether. The main top piece is also warping. There is no way this is going to survive winter. This was the only mud kitchen I could find that hooks to running water, but that’s the only thing worthwhile about it. It’s cute if you baby it, but if your kid is actually going to use it for its intended purpose outside it’s not going to last.

Great toy!
This kitchen for kids is adorable. It was easy to assemble and is very well made. It’s sturdy and doesn’t wobble. Lots of space for two kids to play. It’s perfect for toddlers!

Hoping it can hold up
Really love the concept and being able to hook the hose up to it... we've had it for about a month and the wood is already cracking unfortunately...hoping it doesn't get worse

Poor quality materials and assembly directions
This product has a very foul smell and I wish I hadn’t even tried to assemble it. The wood sounds like it’s cracking as you assemble it. The directions are so hard to see it took us multiple tries to get it assembled and we eventually just gave up bc we knew it would’nt last long in the elements. Another item in the landfill

It seems sturdy
Went together pretty easily. I ended up giving up on the directions by step seven I think and just looked at the picture and put it together. It’s a little shorter than I had hoped because I did buy it for my two grandsons, one who is six and one who is two. The packaging head said up to age 8 but I think it is better suited probably to age 5 maybe. We’re going to raise it up with some of those blocks that you put to raise up a bed. You have to make sure to have the proper part to hook it up to the hose. The kids love it though! And all the utensils, and everything that came with it a really nice quality.

Disappointed
The instructions were minimal. The 2nd step actual says, "try to use the right one....". Screw holes don't all match up. When backing a screw out, the wood split. More than anything there are numerous glue/residue places. Even after using GooGone and other cleaners they didn't come off. Which lead to collection of stuck dirt when playing with it.I believe I'm disappointed mostly due to the high reviews verses the actual product I got. Seldom do reviews lead you astray. I feel with this product that is exactly what happened.
