This is not essential oil - cooking oil smells better
Firstly there is no seal on this bottle which is very unusual. This is a normal oil, either sunflower or almond oil and it smells like rancid coooking oil. It is not essential oil or even similar to essential oil. It smells like sunflower oil that has gone off. I made a complaint about the item as it is non returnable . The item description is totally incorrect and I received a full refund. The rancid cooking oil went in the bin.

Effective for bunions
I bought this for my Mum to mix with a base oil for her bunions. She had been using this from another company and ran out so had ordered this one to replace it. She finds a significant difference to her bunion size and pain so fingers crossed putting this on every day will keep them from being so large and sore. The item came out with the box which was flat packed along side. i did find this a little strange but as we will be using it regularly I dont suppose we need the box anyway. This was a good price and appears to be a good product

It looks and smells like the real thing
It seems this is also advertised as a massage/arometharapy oil, yet contact with skin isn't advised...? Aside from these two things being contrary to each other, I'm also put off by the lack of information on how this oil is produced. It looks and smells like the real thing, I guess, but I very much prefer to know if an oil is cold pressed or not. I've used it on skin dilluted and haven't had a problem, but use with caution.

beware- this is NOT Calendula Officinalis (true Marigold) oil!
I have put 'Calendula Officinalis' in amazon search engine. This oil came up - so I ordered it. It turns out is is completetely different oil form calendula Officinalis! It is made from different Marigold. Only after I realised that, I 've read on a different website that: 'Tagetes essential oil is a dark orange or yellow liquid with quite a bitter, herbaceous odour. Used in an oil burner, a few drops in the bath or blended as a massage oil or cream tagetes has healing effects on bunions, calluses, corns and fungal infections. It is well known for flavouring tobacco and is used in some food and drink products as well as a good insect repellent, bunches of the leaves and flowers are often seen hanging from native huts to deter swarms of flies and mosquitoes. Tagetes essential oil can also be used in soap making, lotions, towel scenting, facial steams, hair treatments plus lots more. Do not confuse tagetes essential oil with Calendula oil (marigold). The therapeutic properties of tagetes oil include anti-infectious, antibiotic, anti-spasmodic, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, insecticide and sedative. Aroma: Bitter, herbaceous slightly fruity or citrus. Note: Do not use when pregnant or breastfeeding, may irritate sensitive skin, use in moderation''It is quite misleading to sell oil which may irritate sensitive skin (!) as Calendula Officinalis oil which has completely different properties and is actually used to relieve irritation on sensitive skin! This difference should be stressed in product description.

Didn't work on wart
If you are looking for something to get rid of wart this is not the one. Didn't work! I might use the oil for something else instead. Someone recommended to me different product "bye wart" ,which sorted out the problem quick. Can be used on children's skin too. I think from age of 3.
