This 140mm x 25mm variable speed fan is quiet. Great.
I placed this fan on it's little legs - (MISSING TWO NUTS for screwing the legs on, BTW!) - under an old power amp that's been overheating. It really works! Cools things down just great and I can't hardly hear it at all. I would buy another for sure.

How do they do it?
Sometimes the quality and purpose of design belie the price paid. This is one of those items. Works precisely as described and solved a long standing problem better than the last fan with separately purchased variable power supply. Smooth gradations for the easy adjustment of fan speed/noise and pulls very little current for 24/7 use applications.

Great for keeping tube radios cooler.
This is exactly what I needed. Plugs in a wall outlet and has a variable speed fan. Can be ultra quiet at very low speed settings. Turned up all the way it can provide a good amount of air flow. The noise level goes up but it isn't overpowering. I set it on top of my (tube) radio and I run it just above the lowest setting. Keeps the radio much cooler. I am very happy with this product. The price was so reasonable I didn't have to take the time to manufacture something myself. When I saw the product I immediately bought two (2) of them. I'm glad I did. If you need a variable speed fan you will be happy with this item.

Amazing and flow air greatly, Update: attention
I initially liked this product and used it under my router, which kept the device cool. I was impressed enough to order a dust shield and another unit for my modem. However, I've now downgraded my rating to 4 stars due to some issues: the bearing produces noise, and the wire is not securely attached to the fan, causing it to hang loose. I had to use hot glue to secure it properly. Consequently, I plan to purchase a fluid dynamic bearing fan instead, as they are almost silent at night and have greater longevity.

Quiet power
I love the variable control unit, and at full power it moves a ton of air. I used it to cool down my hotroasted coffee beans, and in 2 minutes they are cold. Happy Happy! Very reasonable low sound on full.

Works great, very quiet
I have a schist Aegir Class A stereo power amp in a cabinet, it runs hot, placed this small fan on top to ventilate heat out the back of the cabinet, works great, no issues.

Using this with a mist fogger - working great so far!
I have this set up in front of a mist fogger to circulate the humidity in a grow tent for mycology experiments and growing cactus and vegetables. I have the fan and the fogger connected to an Inkbird humidity controller. Bam. There it is, it completes the system. The noise is barely noticeable outside the tent, but of course if you set it on high speed it makes a bit more noise. But overall I am happy with how quiet it is, and the fan speed controller is fantastic also. I also love that the fan and controller connect with a plug, so if either of them go bad, you can easily replace with no wiring necessary. 2 months so far and still working great. That's what you needed to know, right? Happy growing! Helpful?

Impeccable!
Parfait, bien emballé, beau produit, souffle vraiment bien, relativement silencieux. Très content de mon achat. Le variateur d'intensité fait très bien le travail.

Works as it should
Removed from packaging to test it, works as it should. Haven’t completed the project yet to put it to full use.

It works
I bought this to make a biltong dryer. It did it’s job. There are lots of computer fans available but in order for them to be useable you needed to buy additional parts and then put them together. This one was already configured, with a “dimmer”/speed control.
