A beautiful authentic dirndl dress. Nice thick material and quality craftsmanship. Dress is comfortable and the side zipper makes it easy to get in and out of. Great value for the money.

The quality of the fabric is incredible, brocade is thick and nicely done on the bodice with beautiful pleating in the neckline, satin skirt is also a good weight. The apron lace is an appliqué and looks and feels expensive. I wear a 32D/34C bra and the small fit well. I had to squeeze the girls in but that’s the point of these dresses. I wish the zipper closure had an eye hook to make it easier to zip up however. Blouse has a drawstring ribbon in the front to adjust “plunge” and the fabric is soft but stiff enough to hold the ruffle up on the collar. Elastic on arms was not tight . I am glad I did not size up as the blouse would have bunched and the waist would have been way too big and bunchy. Length is good as I am petite. I typically wear a size 2. Hope this helps

I purchased this for Oktoberfest in the sweaty South & it did not disappoint. This dirndl was the most comfortable & very well made. A pleasant surprise, it had a pocket, just one. The color was great & I received many compliments asking if I got it in Germany. The stitching/ fabric was tight & the apron was as beautiful. It’s hard to tell but the lace detail has a slight shimmer to it. My only “issue” is I wish the fleur de lis weren’t upside down. LOL, As someone from Louisiana, you can see the irk. I think the price could be a little steep for an Amazon purchase not knowing what will arrive but it was worth it. Bavaria Trachten is a company I will purchase from in the future. Next stop, lederhosen. I see this dirndl lasting for many years to come. Prost!

This is beautiful, I can’t wait to wear it to Oktoberfest. Based on the reviews I ordered a size up so it’s a little big, I should’ve ordered my true size. But the quality and detail are amazing.

This dress looks very authentic. Love the material and the detailing.Beware of the fit. I am 5’6” and weigh 132 lbs. my bust measure is 37”. I usually wear size S or M in the states. I ordered size M and it was nowhere close to fitting over my bust. Returning that one but ordered size L which is still snug but will work.I would recommend this item with consideration to sizing.

It is a beautiful color and as a Size XL girl with a large chest the undershirt fit, but the side zipper of the dress would not zip up over my DD chest. I'm going to order a larger size, but will make sure to measure first.

Update to the crazy saga of the 5 Dresses! (Original review at end)After I received this dress (obviously used, stained, no tag, smelling of perfume and covered in make-up) and started the refund process, I reached out to the company that makes these and contacted them directly because I had questions on the fit. (And wanted to let them know Amazon was shipping out used products.)Spoke with Mike who assured me this was a rare occurrence and would never happen again. He apologized of course and helped me make a better size selection. Great!I got the replacement dress in one size smaller and I couldn’t believe, it too, was also used, stained, covered in makeup, and missing the front ties and tags!So I emailed Mike again. Explained and showed photos. He apologized profusely and I told him I wasn’t blaming him - it’s Amazon that’s doing this and it’s not good at all! He credited me and started the process of getting me a new, unused dress! He was very helpful.Now I’m a week and a half in and need this dress for an event. I’ve now got a replacement for the original Large coming to me. A replacement of the M that was also used and now Mike is sending me another replacement (that got mixed up too).Finally after 2 weeks I had 3 unused, new with tags dresses! Mike was soooo accommodating and helped me make the sizing right! After the 2 worn and used dresses, the additional 3 I received were all brand new, with tags, and in perfect condition.I’m confident that now that the makers of this dress are aware of what Amazon was doing, these used dresses won’t be allowed as returns and won’t go out as “new” in the future!Thanks for all the help Mike! My husband got their Lederhosen and they are fantastic quality as well.(Original review below)_____________Dress was stuffed into a bag and smelled of horrible perfume and sweat and is stained with makeup. No tags or anything. Has been snagged and ripped. Disgusting! Don’t send out used and stained products as new!
