Nice set with multiple models
I picked the Vintop Ice Cream Truck brick set up for my daughter. She has recently started building brick sets and this one looked like a good model for her.The set comes in numbered bags. Each of the bags, I believe, is for one of the smaller models. My daughter only wanted to build the truck itself so that's what we did. If you are going to do the same, skip ahead in the manual to page 13. The manual itself is clear and easy to follow. The bricks themselves are Lego compatible and go together easily. We didn't have any issues connecting bricks at any point. There are, however, two areas that repeatedly came loose while assembling adjacent parts. When assembling the front and rear bumpers came off multiple times. They were easily reattached so it isn't a major issue. The end result is a nice looking truck. It really has the feel of an ice cream truck (multiplied by 10! lol) with the over the top accessories like the giant cone on the roof and the vibrant colors. The age range states 6+ years and I think that, with an adult helping, that is accurate. Builders in their teens and up will have no problems building alone. In my opinion, this is a great build for younger brick enthusiasts and, at $26, it's a great value for what you are getting.

Multiple choices within 1 set
I was a little confused at first when I got this because I didn't realize how it works, but basically you can either build the large ice cream truck, or there are 12 smaller models to build with each one having 2 appearances to choose from. If you choose the smaller models, each page of the instruction book has the bag number at the bottom for which pieces correspond to that model, and you can choose from either version of the model (you can't do both versions at once since there aren't enough pieces). Or, you can skip to around the middle of the manual where instructions for the ice cream truck start, which uses all the pieces.I found the diagrams were illustrated well and didn't have any issues putting the pieces together together. Everything is labeled and I didn't see any inaccuracies in the manual. I think the only thing that would improve it is a little "table of contents" explaining the choices you can make.I think the choice aspect is great for kids since they can choose whether they want one big project or several smaller projects - of course you can take the pieces apart if you change your mind. The colors are bright and fun as well - overall I think this is a good pick for children who enjoy building block toys but want more choices on what to build.

Not Legos
If you're used to Legos then keep in mind this is not Legos! This is still a great mess-free activity for little kids and it takes a bit of time. My seven year old was able to do this with the help of her dad. The coloring is a bit different than the stock photo. Once it's assembled if you want it to stay together you will need to put it in an area where it will not be touched or moved much.

Cute Ice Cream Truck Building Block Kit with LOTS of Tiny Pieces!
I chose this cute ice cream truck toy kit with my granddaughters in mind. They love these types of kits and who doesn't love an ice cream truck! In my opinion, this is a quality plastic toy with bright, pretty colors. When first opening the box, I was struck by the number of teeny tiny pieces, 553 of them! Yikes! Luckily, my granddaughters have the patience required to put these models together and will consider this great fun!One photo shows everything that came inside the box. A user manual, cute stickers for some of the models, a black tool to help build them, and 12 individual numbered bags. Each bag can be built into two different models. Another photo shows a closer look at the sealed bags and the black plastic tool. Another photo shows what you can expect inside the user manual. There are no words, just step by step illustrations.I decided to put one of the models together to see what it was like. I chose bag #12 and decided to build the small ice cream trolley. It took me 20 minutes, but this is not something I do on a regular basis, so there's that. All the pieces to build the trolley were in bag #12. The tires were actual rubber, not plastic, so that was impressive. There was some awkwardness, on my part, in trying to build the awning/canopy that goes on top of the trolley, and getting it to stay on. Maybe it was my inexperience, I don't know. The trolley was super cute when completed. As for size, you can see the tires are about the same size as a penny. This toy kit will provide many hours of building fun.I wish this kit came with two mini toy people, instead of just one, so two children can play with less chance of arguing over who gets to play with the one little person with the rather mischievious grin.I wish the user manual had some words for added help. For example, in one photo, after the instructions for model #12, the trolley, were complete, on the next page, the manual goes right into putting together the actual ice cream truck. I would have liked that page to be labeled "ice cream truck."There is no bag with the pieces for the ice cream truck. It looks like you have to go through the various bags of pieces to locate all of the pieces that go to the truck. My grandchildren will be the ones to build that ice cream truck, which is the star of the show!
