At first I thought I may have the issue with the screen not turning on but after a bit of thought I discovered the issue is using the plug charger from a mobile phone. I am pleased this didn't work as I don't like the thought of using these adapters for any length of time. I had a plug socket that had usb ports built in, I also had an plug extension lead which had usb sockets built in, both of these worked perfectly and the digital screen was up and running, using the Frammeo app was simple it all works great and picture quality is very good. You can take a photo and send it to the digital screen in seconds, love it. Only another 20k pictures to send over...

Frame arrived, looks a nice frame. plugged the usb connecter into a socket in the kitchen frame comes on for two seconds then shuts down. plugged frame into my laptop it works perfectly, so i put it back in wall socket doesn't start up. Sent it back ordered another one thought it might a dud. New one arrives and its exactly the same only works when plugged into laptop .

First of all, the image quality is amazing. This brings a whole range of options - import via phone and app, micro SD card or USB. The frame itself is handsome, well made and looks fantastic, on or off. The display is bright and clear, hi res.Sadly, there is no power adapter provided. For this price, I'd expect one, as it is, you have to use a spare power adapter you might have lying around, and use the provided USB C connector.The app is based around adding "friends" to your frame. In theory it means you can invite your friends to share their pictures to your frame. Neat enough idea, but you also have to add yourself as a friend to add your own pics from your phone. The scant instructions don't mention this, so it takes a bit of getting used to.Otherwise, once you're in, you're good to go. I think for the price, it should have a few rough edges sorted out, and also include the power adapter!

Bought this to display all our digital and newly scanned photos.The”simple” start up instructions tell you to plug it in, connect to wifi and choose a language then download an app to share photos. When first plugged in it ran through the start up process but then went to a black screen. The on off button only worked intermittently. When plugged out and in again it did the same thing. Couldn’t get it to go any further. Reading other reviews, this seems like a very common problem. So returned it.Having said all this, the returns price is excellent.

The digital photo frame is very slow to respond when turned on, we were left scratching our heads wondering what to do with it as all the instructions said were to set your frame language etc but with no clue as to how to go about that. Unplugging and plugging it back in half a dozen times and it suddenly started to work, so hubby was able to set it up.Then it says to download the app. It doesn't say that you have to download it to your phone, I thought that it should be downloaded onto the frame.Then the rest of the family (or friends) can download the app to their phones and share photographs to the frame with a code. I didn't have to type the code in again for each individual photograph, but I'm not sure if I would if I did it on a different day. Most of my photographs are on my desktop, not my phone, and there seems to be no way to get them to the photo frame from my desktop, so I'm not sure how I will go about scanning all my mum and dad's old photographs and getting them onto this device.The photographs are really clear and the frame scrolls through them all and shows any captions that you might have added at the time of sending the photograph to the frame, but you don't have to add a caption if you don't want to.The frame is not wall mountable, so you will need to find a large space for it close to a USB port as it isn't chargeable and needs to be plugged when in use. Hubby says you can use a VESA mount, like on the back of a computer monitor, so there might be way to wall mount it using one of those, but it's probably not going to be flush to the wall, from what I can tell; we don't have one, so I don't know for sure.The cord that comes with it is very short, maybe a meter, but it is a USB-c to USB-a, so you may have a longer one laying around somewhere. It doesn't run on batteries, so that's great. There is an on/off button on the back, and it tells you to always turn it off that way, so you shouldn't unplug it to power it down; that might be an issue if you do want to fix it to the wall, somehow.It also tells the time and the temperature.As far as it goes, it is a good device, but I would like to be able to easily add photographs from my desktop too. It is cheap to run, as it doesn't need batteries, and it is relatively easy to get photographs to it off your family phones.

This was our 2nd item. Clearly the first one WAS DEFECTIVE.Very nice and easy to send it back and get refund.Happy all the way around.
