In terms of phone protection this is great. I had the same one for my S4 and it kept it safe and functioning despite several drops for almost 3 years before I dropped it and the screen went out permanently. I didn't hesitate to buy the same case again for my new S5.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the quality of the soft part of the case. I have the pink soft case with white hard cover and the pink is already not so pink after 3 days. It absorbs the colors of my clothes..so whenever it's in my pocket it comes out with the edges a little blue or black, whichever colors pants they are. The soft case also peels apart after not so long. Had this same issue with the commuter series for the S4.. pink was more of a dark blue with pink tint after a few months in the pocket of blue jeans.

I am a person who drops her phone several (and I really do mean several) times a day. I drop it on the cement floors at work. I drop it on the blacktop in the parking lot. I drop it from high spots. I drop it from low spots. I drop it all the time. I buy this case once a year. My phone has never been damaged, no matter where I have dropped it from. My grandson grabs it and chews on it - still fine. I do have to replace it like once a year because when I drop it on the corner, the case always cracks - the corner near the headphone input. I don't mind - better to replace a case that did it's job than to have to replace my phone. I love this thing. :-)

So far, so good. I have had a few Otterbox products and I am always impressed with their sturdy qualities. This is no different. I haven't had the product long, but so far it is holding up as expected. The only reason I did not give this five stars was because of how the product image made it seem as though a cover plate was included. It wasn't in the description, so it wasn't deliberate on the part of the seller. Just, the photo suggested there might be a cover from what I remember. It may just have been including a shot of the back of the phone plate superimposed on the facing view.

I bought this exact same otterbox series for my s5 over two years ago, and I just now had to replace it as the rubber had worn down and started to fall apart.My original case (same series and everything) came with a screen protector, but the case I received from Amazon did not. I was kind of hoping it would come with the screen protector, but it's not that big of a deal as the one from my original case is still holding up strong.My biggest concern is that the outer plastic case is a bit warped and doesn't fit perfectly at one corner, thus getting caught when I pull it out of my pocket. My first one sat pretty flush against the rubber casing, so I remedied this by just switching the new plastic case with my old one. It looks a bit dingy, but as long as it works, right?Otherwise, the rubber part looks like it may just hold up for another two years. I hope!

Otterbox cases are all about protection, and in that regard this product nails it. I ordered the pink and the edges were a sort-of egg shell, off white color. After just a week, they are a dirty carbon color. In terms of function, I could care less. But in terms of aesthetics, I feel embarrassed pulling out my phone and having a dirty-looking case. At least until someone else pulls out their Otterbox--then I feel their pain.I'd totally buy another Otterbox, they have gained a loyal customer. But next time I'll avoid being a girly girl and go for black.

I have always used Otterbox cases on my phones, and I've always been happy with them. I look at other people's phones with their cracked screens but I have never had that problem. I recently dropped my phone on my tile floor and the Otterbox saved me from having to get a new phone. They add some bulk to the phone but I've never had a problem tucking it into my back pocket if I want. YOu can remove the hard plastic outer shell if you need to slim it down for a while. They are easy to clean and the colors are fun. Protect your investment the right way.

For the reputation that Otterbox has, I would expect better quality and better design.The commuter looks nice, but when I got mine, the hard shell would not stay attached. It pops off when I have my phone inside.The flap over the headphone jack is also very difficult to lift up.Also, I would have expected a little better grip for an Otterbox case. I've tried the defender and other series before and I had to be careful to not drop my phone because the cases are so slick.Sure it helps to not get stuck in your pockets, but I would rather my phone be secure in my hands.Overall, disappointed. Hopefully the seller will approve my return request....

This phone case is definitely the best I have owned. I wanted something that would protect my phone but that also wouldn't be too bulky or unattractive. The only reason as to why I gave it four starts is because it does tend to get stained if you put it in your jean pockets. Just keep it out of your pockets and clean it, and it looks like new.

I've had an Otterbox Commuter in the past with no issues. This one doesn't seem to fet as well as my last one. The pink rubber is a little loose at the bottom, near the home button. The white plastic is lifted on one of the corners - like it wasn't molded with enough of an acute angle. Still works and protects my phone, which is what matters. There's just a few more places for dirt to hide!

Genuine Otterbox case and with that it can only mean one thing. Superb product.Any otterbox case guarantees complete protection and this case also has a very neat design and colour scheme.I got this prodcut for a sister and she loves itt.Only problem could be the bulkiness of fthe case however that is expected with a case that protects the phone like it does.Would certainly buy again.

Perfect fit for my Galaxy 5 Neo. It is sturdy enough to protect my phone from falls and looks great too. The pink is super cute!

Love it!Solid white back.pink frames the screen adding just enough color to make it fun. Fits great. Do not find it slippery and feels rugged but slim.

This item is great; I have dropped my phone a few times on the hardwood and tile with no problems. The only problems are that the case is incredibly bulky and heavy, and it gets dirty (as with any phone case that is used day in and day out).
