Does this contain dairy? A lot of "dark" chocolate has milk powder added these days.
What is the expiry date? Thanks.
I usually get Costco Chocolate chips 51% coco semisweet . Is this a good substitute please ?
At what temperature do they melt? I live in a really hot and humid country.

A perfectly versatile chocolate
I have been using this chocolate for a while because it's just perfect for my needs. I'm lactose intolerant so I can trust this product to not cause any issues there and I also don't really like dark chocolate that much, but this one I love. This chocolate is quite sweet, but still has that dark chocolate bitterness, with an almost vanilla aftertaste. I use it to make ganache, coat biscuits and just to put in cookies. The fact that it is in small chips makes it really easy to use and weigh out precisely so I know I won't waste it. The only thing I would say is that it melts to quite a thick consistency so you need to work quickly when coating. There are other chocolates in this range that will melt thinner but I love the taste of this one so I won't switch.

Excellent for baked and non baked goods
I don't eat a lot of chocolate and when I do, I can be very picky. While I prefer chocolates with at least 70% cocoa when eating, for the baking purposes I use 60%. This is the first time I have tried Callebaut. I have seen lots of professional bakers use it so I decided to give it a go. When I couldn't find 60% I went with 53% cocoa chips. I found these callets to have just the right amount of sweetness for the my baked and non baked goods. What makes them super hit in my opinion is the after taste which is great.I also find this product to be reasonably priced and it was also delivered in good time.Update:-Just wanted to add that even though it says - Callebaut 53% dark chocolate chips on sellers page on the bag it says 54.5% cocoa.

Amazing product worth every penny
I love callebaut!!!!! If your like me, an amateur Baker and crafty you may have reached a point when you actively avoid chocolate work as good quality chocolate is sooooo expensive. One recipe needed 500g of chocolate at £5 per 100g that's £25 just for the chocolate!!!!! Then I went on a chocolate making class in Belgium and they had these sacks of callebaut chocolate that they used, so I Googled it and discovered this stuff!!!!The quality is up there as great chocolate and the price is amazing!!!!!!I now have Kgs of chocolate which I personally keep in my fridge as I have the space, I always have a 2.5kg bag of dark (54.5%), milk and white in my fridge. The bags do come in smaller sizes but the big ones are resealable. When I started a friend and I would half half a big bag till we found the right ones for us.

Best chocolate drops I've tried.
These are delicious as a treat with dried fruit, they melt in a pan really easily to add chocolate to cakes, my son couldn't eat dairy so he didnt have to miss out with these. Oh the cookies and cakes we've made with this, and the bag lasts a chunk of time. Much better value than supermarket 100g bags, and much better flavour too
