They’re affordable and they work great for me. I’m past the age of fighting for sport, but I do like to be a good training partner. So these gloves are quite handy. I’ll get them again when the time comes.

I got these shelly gloves for MMA sparring as these types typically weigh more and are therefore safer to spar with. MMA fight gloves are usually 4-6oz depending on the size of the gloves (my MMA fight gloves are 4.7oz) and these ones are 5.7oz, so it’s okay.

I loved everything about it

Holding up well for my kid, used for TKD black belt training. Only thing he doesn’t like is that the wrist wrap is kind of long.

Works as described

I really enjoy using these gloves, especially when working out with a heavy bag. I'm not an MMA fighter, but I find them convenient for my routine. Regular gloves were a hassle during workouts because I listen to videos had to constantly take them off to change videos, skip commercials, take drinks, wipe sweat, etc... The exposed fingers in these gloves make things so much easier.These Jayefo gloves, despite being a Chinese brand, are well-made. I also have their 14oz gloves, which are more comfortable, but the grappling gloves work fine, especially if you wrap your hands well. Be cautious with sloppy hooks, as the knuckles are well-padded, but the proximal joints are less covered, which could lead to bag burn on your fingers.Sizing was a bit confusing, but I went with L/XL, and they fit well on my L-sized hands without feeling loose. Both sets of Jayefo gloves are durable and feel secure. I appreciate the long wrist strap on the grappling gloves. They bind tightly providing confidence that my wrists won't buckle during a workout.An added bonus is that open palm gloves like these don't develop a strong odor compared to enclosed gloves. They dry quickly on the inside due to being exposed to air. While the 14oz gloves are more comfortable, for workouts and using a heavy bag, I prefer these open palm gloves every time.
