The Chanel No 5 smells terrible. When my husband comes into the room after I’ve sprayed it, he literally says YUCK, what’s that smell! I’ve never thrown a perfume away but I am actually throwing this one away. Sorry, I wanted to like it but it just smells really bad.

At first sniff it does not relate to it"s developed smell. It is actually better as a room fragrance I think. Lovely and does smell as the #5. There is a platinum collection that I think translate into softer fragrances. Try it!
