Will it update while on trailer, I have WiFi that has a strong signal

I was able to connect to my Hotspot ( on my phone) while sitting doc side. It should update from where ever as long as it can connect to any wifi.

does this come with side scane

Yes this has the side scan and down scan transducer but it's best not to use them at the same time on this model for clarity purposes .

What exactly is inside the box when delivered?

You can see unit contents on Lowrance's site. It is in the first part of the installation manual.

It shows speed on the charts and has the option to show speed on the sonar screens too.
